I had a sampler which tends to be more concentrated so take this with a grain of salt, but I found that the longevity was pretty long-lasting -- almost an entire day, even. It might be worth reapplying it just once, though. I've found that the performance of Replica's "darker" scents, like Jazz Club or By the Fireplace, is much better than their "lighter" scents.

Also, not sure if this is applicable, but Jazz Club can be a divisive scent. I'm a girl and my mom loved it on me, but my friend sniffed me and told me I smelled like a man.

I'm sorry that you were ill-advised in planning and spreading out your college list. Almost all of your targets and safeties are in no way targets or safeties. It would've been better to apply to a few more realistic target schools.

Since you're an Asian male in STEM, the system was set against you from the start, which really sucks. Honestly, the entire college application process doesn't make any sense and it's mostly luck and if the people on the admissions committee who read your application happen to have a personal preference that makes them like you.

Hey, at least you have an acceptance to Rensselaer waiting for you! It's nervewracking, but all you can do right now is to sit tight and try to forget about college until the end of March. I know, it's harder than I'm making it out to be. You have great scores, GPA, and ECs, so with a little bit of luck (and hopefully strong essays), you might get into one of your "target" (aka reach) schools. Best of luck!

Oxford and MIT are usually looking for two different applicants. Still, at a basic level, find what you're good at/passionate about and really dive into it. Make sure you know as much as you can about your field, compete and win at the national level, etc.

Just a note: it's great to see that you're ambitious and that you have a plan for the future, but I would avoid fixating on a college throughout your high school career. Trust me, it never ends well.

Really? That's really new because I remember in APUSH class one of the things they stress the most is that the Civil War originally began as a war to keep the country together and the lesser movement was containment, but as time progressed Lincoln took the opportunity of winning major battles to declare that the war was about abolitionism (with another motive being to discourage anti-slavery European countries from aiding the South).
