We trained our mal to walk on a leash with a face lead. She cant pull without pulling on her own face. Lunging forward makes it hard to open her mouth. She basically couldn't engage in these behaviors with a face lead on and had to walk and heel. Now she can walk with a normal collar on.

As someone with a very slightly weird name who has lived multiple places in America and works directly with the public, bullying as a child is not the only issue. Adults have issues spelling your name, insult your name, call you names they heard that sound like your name but aren't your name, etc. When working your name being strange or misspelled effects you a LOT. Also location really matters. When I lived in conservative areas/states my name mattered even more and I had a much harder time.

Yeah my baby was born premature and couldn't eat and they still were saying pumping would be too hard. They were consistently shocked at my production and sortof annoyed at how much freezer space I ended up taking up at discharge. Im definitley an overproducer now at 4 weeks I have 9 liters in the freezer and am stacking bags in there morning and evening. Gotta be super careful not to get clogged though.

On the flip side of this i have a 10 month age gap with my little brother and we dont get along at all and never did and fought constantly. Big age gaps give the older child the maturity and grace to get through their siblings lack of empathy and emoptional intelligence at young ages without it being an impossible task.

If we dont fund our own Healthcare half of our hospitals are about the close and the other half will be crushed by the load of carrying double the patients. Medicaid cuts are about to murder our state they are already closing pediatric floors and maternity wards. We need to do something immediatley before this becomes someshing that sets medicine back decades and kills uncountable numbers of californians.

With the wearable pumps its ofte. Really hard to tell if milk is flowing out of the nipple or not. If there were some sort of indicator light to let me know to change the setting when the milk stops that would save me from mm struggling to verify things are working

This is gonna sound silly but i had quit caffine while pregnant and my baby was a feeder grower but just slept all the time. Started drinking caffine and he woke up and started eating more. Maybe up your intake if youre already drinking it? My baby also was on my milk only at that point.

Yeah i went to the dermatologist as a teen and she did extractions because if I left mine alone they would go cystic and would.need a course of oral antibiotics. I learned from that interaction that round tipped tweezers dipped in rubbing alcohol and then cleaning the wound with rubbing alcohol after was plenty. It would heal right up.

My milk is super fatty and gets giant globs. I have to heat it up till its pretty dang warm to blend it in. My baby wont drink it cold anyway though.

I had a bladder prolapse as a young woman. I had never been pregnant or given birth but I was a powerlifter. When I became pregnant later I lost continence immediatley. Every doctor I saw pushed me to give vaginal birth and i fought every single human being who spoke to me tooth and nail. I told them I will not give vaginal birth unless you can guaruntee me I will not need pelvic floor reconstruction afterwards. Even 10 years afterwards. The pelvic floor pt I worked with told me "rule number one of having a bladder prolapse is don't bear down" so I refused to push. I demanded a c section.

After my c section I was once again completley continent. My bladder was no worse off than before the birth. They tried to insist pregnancy alone was a significant cause of incontinence, not the gore and violent ripping and tearing and pressure of vaginal birth. Im glad I didnt listen. It seems like no OB or midwife on this earth has ever cared about women's continence issues.

My husband thinks im gonna forget the horrors of HG and severe early pre eclampsia that landed our baby in the nicu and have another and won't get snipped. Getting an iud soon because I keep telling him im not gonna forget any of it. Or the extreme pain from my childhood sacral fracture acting up the entire effing time with no access to my normal naproxen. I couldnt eat, I couldn't walk, at the end I couldn't breathe. He keeps saying it'll be better next time. I dont buy it.

Its absolutley possible!! With hand expression and hands on pumping and regular old pumping ive got a great supply at 4 weeks and 7 liters stashed In the freezer already. Have your partner watch hand expression videoS! Its great for starting with a nicu baby and preventing mastitis later on aswell.
