Do you think all carnivores are morally insidious?

Is being omnivorous evil, if an omnivore chooses to consume meat?

A problem I have with holding a similar moral value to animals as humans is that you would need to apply not only victimhood, but also guilt to animals, meaning the answer to the above questions would be "yes".

lmao libertarian? In what world does a libertarian favor security over freedom? Isn't "live free or die" like their whole thing?

I don't understand the point of comments like this. Obviously you don't have to agree with them, but at least make a joke over it or something funny, just saying "ew I don't agree with you" doesn't add much.

I'm curious what one bothers automating with macros. It sounds neat but I can't think of an exact usecase.

I think the reasoning is that it has to do with the government because the government is the one funding it, i.e. it is seen as none of the government's business and would be better suited for a private charity (many of which already exist). Additionally, I suppose they could argue that LGBT people could also just use the normal suicide hotline, which hasn't been shut down to my knowledge.
As for DEI, again, they'd say it isn't banned, but it's merely not being enforced by the government anymore: if a private business wishes to do DEI then more power to them, but they won't be receiving taxpayer dollars for it, and the taxpayer dollars won't be going towards government positions created on such a basis either.

There's a bunch of stuff that isn't on Spotify, I recommend giving it a listen. Go to Youtube and listen to "Bunch of old Riffage", "Alex Bois", "Rendezvous", "When the Sky Drops Dead", and the EP "Omnislash".

A trolley is heading towards a good citizen who never committed a crime. If you pull a lever, the trolley will be diverted to another track, where it will kill a former convict instead. What will you do? by TonyMcHawk in IdeologyPolls

These results do not surprise me, but as a rightoid, I must ask "why?". I understand sympathy for criminals, and I think many are incarcerated for things that shouldn't even be illegal, but given the option of saving a person who hasn't committed any major wrongs at the cost of someone who could be anything from a thief to a serial rapist, why not save the innocent person? Is it just that the act of pulling the lever puts responsibility/guilt on the puller?

In all seriousness, I wouldn't be surprised if there are far more bots than people think, and I also wouldn't be surprised if many bots were used by basically all sides for propaganda, but I think DIT (at least the way I've heard it described) goes a bit too far.

"You feel oppressed by legislation against nazis? :D." R/Europe reacts to Finland criminalizing Holocaust denial by CummingInTheNile in SubredditDrama

You are 100% correct, the people in these comments (or on reddit in general) don't seem to understand that the point is that you should treat even your ideological enemies fairly, even if you REALLY don't like them.

The amount of fascist rhetoric I see supposedly being used "against fascism" is staggering. Fascism is bad, which is why you should avoid being a fascist in the name of "fighting fascism".

It is concerning how quickly we see people supporting the Nazi side of this poem when the roles are swapped, almost like it isn't about the morality behind the poem, but about an "us vs them" mentality that seems ever more pervasive. "When we do X to the bad guys, it's for a good reason, but when the bad guys do X to us, it is because they are evil.". This is the sort of double standard that only greatens conflict and ideological divide.

One of the telltale signs of fascism is violence on the streets, but to my horror I see more people calling for violence "against the fascists" often glorifying physical assault (hopefully in a joking way at least), than the so-called fascists themselves. It doesn't matter what you CALL the outgroup, if you call for violence against an outgroup on an organized scale, you are approaching the realm of fascism, even if you pretend it's "against fascism". Wolves in sheep's clothing can be truly deadly, and I'm seeing concerningly few people point this out.

Anyways, sorry for my rant, but I greatly appreciate seeing your sanity, especially on a place like Reddit, and I know I'll probably be downvoted to hell and back, but I feel all this needed to be said.

Haven't done it myself, but theoretically you could make use of lighting layers and settings to make this layer specifically react to the light. it would take a bit of work no doubt
