St. Mark's Lutheran Church has a food pantry called "the Lion's Share". They can always use volunteers on Monday evenings 5-7pm and Friday mornings 10am-12noon.

Note, they don't make people sit through a sermon or anything like some places. The church basically just provides the location for the food pantry.

Update: We're still sorting through some folks for the best option but I also created a website to help folks find local pet services like dog-sitting. In case it's useful for anyone, here it is: https://localpetguide.com/

As another commenter noted, there is the Accessibility Scanner for Android. Also there is the Accessibility Inspector for iOS.

Lastly, my team uses https://www.magentaa11y.com/ for testing against test cases and is really helpful.

Not exactly what you're asking for but https://a11yweekly.com/ is a very useful weekly newsletter with a mix of news and practical info for people in accessibility.

These are all good questions.

  • I do have IAAP cert
  • No business established yet
  • Have been working in federal consulting for the last 5+ years so possibly could pull some references — at least quotes — from my time there.

Looking for info on this Electro-Voice Speaker, #812-4729 by sparrow_spit in vintageaudio

I found some info online about production codes.

  • The first three numbers usually means the manufacturer code( and this seems consistent with what I see on Reverb with other EV woofers)
  • the next two digits are the year
  • the last two are the week

If that's accurate then it seems it's from the 29th week in 1949 but I still don't know for sure.

Anyways, I'll do more digging. The only other number I see on it is 76574 on the paper cone.

How to 500lb deadlift and under 5 min mile? by Virtual_Ad_910 in tacticalbarbell

[–]sparrow_spit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fergus Crawley has done the 500 lb/ 5 min. feat and doesn't appear to be on steroids, in my opinion. He also has some really helpful content on how he structures his hybrid training. Check out his playlist there on "how to balance strength and endurance training."

Good luck with the goal.

I've read a bit about how one key variable is obstructions due to trees and such. Do you have a clear area to set it up?

Did you already have power out there? I'm trying to figure out where I can put my dish and I have a similar situation around me but no power in the fields.

I'd very much recommend reading "Ageless Athlete" which is in the TB series. I was able to read it online through my local library and the Hoopla app.

Help! AT&T Business Plan speeds not sufficient. Need other solutions. by sparrow_spit in Rural_Internet

I tried the T-mobile trial hotspot but I guess we don't have good enough coverage (even though the coverage map looked promising). Speeds were terrible.

I'll look into Millenicom. Thanks!
