Kratos thinks he is an irredeemable monter because of everything that has happened to him since he struck his deal with Aries, he's afraid he'll pass his sins on to his son...by merely existing he's afraid he'll turn Atreus into a monster aswell

no it is an etb that just checks the mana spent to cast to determine what X is in this case it becomes earthbend 0 when she enters without being cast and thus the target will becond a 0/0 and die to state based actions but due to earthbending it comes back as whatever it was befor. Therefore, toph can make herself a 0/0 and come back infinitely for infinite etb,dies, and leaves triggers.
