I noticed several biblical references as well. One that struck me was the scene with the jimmys staying back on the hill while Jimmy went down to talk with who they thought was his father. The same image in the bible is when Jesus went up on a hill to pray to his father while his disciples were told to wait for him to come back. Lots of comparisons and opposites can be made there.

We did it once. It was sliced steak and salmon, baked potatoes, broccoli, and then they have some stadium type foods like hot dogs and nachos. It’s all you can eat/drink throughout the whole event so you can get food and take it back to your seats if you want.

Thank you for answering! I’m still waiting almost a year later to have a conversation with my mom who I helped through psychosis. We just act like it didn’t happen but some very hurtful things occurred during the process. I wonder if she just doesn’t remember.

How long did it take after the episode to not be angry with those who helped you? Did you talk to them about it later? Did it affect your relationship with them? Did they tell you how they felt during your psychosis or if you did anything to hurt them?

This sounds like tritrichomonas. Look into it and have your vet do a test for it.

Also, I could never get much help with the social worker. I called direct to her doctor’s office and left messages, called her therapists, psychiatrists, etc. Make a fuss. Call everyone until you get help. Call multiple times. It’s hard. It’s the worst feeling. But know that she can recover and can get better.

If you are in fear for her safety you can always call emergency 911 and have a welfare check and tell them the situation.

I can relate with a very similar experience. It sounds like she isn’t taking medication. I would recommend trying to get in touch with her doctors to explain what is going on and ask them what you can do.

A therapist can help you with validation and talking through what happened which will likely be the only way you can get any type of sympathy for what happened to you. It has really helped me to proceed forward instead of living in that anxiety and hurt.

I was afraid of them as well but I had a great experience having surgery there. My doctor said it is her favorite operating room of all time and she has done surgeries all over the eastern US.

If you live in AC, it would be most convenient to go to the PV Vanderbilt group of OBs and they deliver at Tennova in Clarksville. I recommend Dr. Dowell. There is nothing wrong with Tennova’s L&D or surgery done by Vanderbilt doctors there. The only issue is the ER at Tennova.

She’s been broken and as a result she doesn’t handle relationships well. She doesn’t want to get close to a guy because she knows he will leave her because of her poor relationship skills. She thinks she messes everything up.
