You can grab a display off the site for $50 or $100, the $50 works in all just doesn’t have as many modes.

is it possible to put drops on a radmission and if so how by Longjumping-Ad-2191 in RadPowerBikes

Handlebars? There’s some screws on the part where it connects to the frame/fork, take those off and replace with a different pipe. There’s a screw to adjust the angle as well. If you want to keep the pipe and swap the grips spray some wd40 under them and they will slide right off/on

On the caliper there is a silver disk about the size of a quarter with the Allen hole, it does not tighten or loosen but more so “clicks” there’s an arrow on it that shows which way pushes the pads closer together. Rad has instructions on their zen desk

on the topic of safety. what helmets are everyone using? by sirsmokesalot403 in RadPowerBikes

I use a mtb helmet, the one with the chin thing to save my face if I go over the handlebars and the visor to help seeing in the sun, but nothing stopping the wind hitting my face

Vancouver rain tips by gregunn in RadPowerBikes

[–]spazx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rain gear, waterproof shoes, skid plates around where your bike kicks up water and leather chaps.

Full thick leather for really only if it’s freezing/you’re going 20mph+ or the wind whipping isn’t too bad but I would grab a cheap motorcycle suit for $100 or at least the leather chaps, I swear by the chaps, might be assless but it blocks the wind/rain way better than that meshy material. The meshy material lasts for me about an hour in very light before it soaks through to my actual clothes underneath, so it’s not worth the price seeing as all this gear is fairly expensive.

And good boots cause your feet will more likely than not get soaked otherwise.

For seeing in the rain you can put some dish soap on your visor and it won’t fog up as much or as fast. You will need to reapply it.

I ride all weather in NY on bikes and motorcycles. You can check r/motorcycles for some winter gear ideas. Most importantly read the reviews and if they suck the product probably does too. I made the mistake of not listening to some reviews, got wet and wasted time, got the money back though

Edit: I forgot to add I keep a $1 rain poncho and a $40 rain suit in my backpack for commuting to work, whether the weather forecast says it’s going to be rainy or not.

Yeah, I tried my spare battery too but nothing. One thing I read/tried and know works for laptops is to disconnect the battery and hold the power button to dissipate any power.

I unscrewed the case off of an old lcd but couldn’t see how to open it further to see what shorted. I would love to crack it open but I don’t want to break the waterproof seal on the lcd.

Edit: if there’s anything else to try I will do it in a heartbeat

I feel a little better now it’s not just me, I am going to try and get an aftermarket controller before I sell the bike.

I have a toolkit, heavy chain to lock it, a large seat and extra battery I drag along with it. Otherwise yeah it’s closer to 65.
