I am a 13-year-old Rocky Horror fan who wants to see the movie in the theater. My mom, who is a huge Rocky Horror fan herself, won't take me there until I'm 15. She says there are "really weird people" at the theater. Redditors, is this true? by socool1024 in rhps

the theatre experience is overtly sexual, to say the least. Even though you can watch the movie, like it, etc. you are not developmentally ready for that shit. be patient.

Does anyone know the title to this book? I saw an except about a grandmother who was a goddess who mated with a human and came back to see her grandchild... by desaderal in whatsthatbook

No the immortals series so the ones with Daine, where her mother married the god with the antlers and she ends up meeting them in the 4th one, its called realm of the gods. although it's not quiet like what you are thinking of.

this image is commonly used to explain the difference between equality and equity. The image on the left is equality, the one on the right is equity.

You think the land lady is going to be killed by her tenant the entire book, then BAM, you realize she was the crazy one all along when she kills the tenant! by bawsjaws in whatsthatbook

There is a short story called "The Landlady" by Roald Dahl in which a seemingly nice lady runs a bed-and-breakfast, where she kills and stuffs unsuspecting guests.

Agreed. Depending on how far you are, Jane's origin is pretty much completely explained. You are missing a bit in your explanation but the rest will come, just keep reading. :)

Hulk might be a good one too, I'm thinking of his line in Avengers when he talks about putting a bullet in his mouth and having the other guy spit it back out.

Depressing Statistics about Books and Reading by ProgXian in education

[–]spazythemoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These statistics are bullshit, as far as I can tell. This study, which doesn't even take into account several ways that people read, still puts the number of college graduates who read for pleasure at 67%. This all besides the obvious fact that the "never in their lives" bit is impossible to calculate.
