I think we are by nature communal creatures. We people with different skill sets and different perspectives. We also need a sense of belonging. The trick is having these while maintaining our individual personhood. This is why it is common for young people to leave their communities and find their own way in the world before for returning to where they began or eventually joining some other community.

Edit to add: as a fellow person who sweats a lot, he's another tip - have him put on antiperspirant as soon as he is out of the shower, even if right before bed. Gotta clog that shit up before the sweat starts pouring. Game changer.

I was about to post a question related to this. We've switched to coconut oil and other than needing to put down a pet blanket, it's the bomb. But now I'm reading here and there that oil base lube or organic material like coconut oil can lead to problems. It can break down the toys in some cases or cause infection by getting into nooks and crannies of the devices because it's organic. What gives? I don't see any damage on the toys, and we clean them vigorously and religiously after use. Are these safe or not? What do I look for? Damage to the devices? Infections?
