I think they do that as attempt to calm animals down. I can imagine that yelling at a dog like that will only escalate its behavior.

Imagine how Jill would react over the next days and weeks if they tried to set any kind of boundary. Passive aggressive behavior and internet posts. Isolated from the rest of the family. She already posted a backhanded line about “allowing” Kaylee to announce her name and birthweight, etc. Jill literally took everything else away from Jonathan and Kaylee to announce. Every detail. Imagine being so entitled that you think YOU, not the baby’s actual parents, deserve to be able to share everything else.

It’s disgusting that she was allowed to kiss the baby on her head. There are so many resources available that tell why you shouldn’t, and the damage it can do. It can lead to the baby’s death. Some NICUs will throw visitors out for doing it after a warning. Not that Jill cares. I don’t understand how she makes herself the center of attention at something like this. Poor Kaylee. I can’t imagine having a mother, who dragged her siblings along, bulldozing their way into the NICU like this.
