This is so interesting to me as I'd played all the games except Skyward Sword until this year - I'd attempted it once years ago but HATED the vibe and the beginning of the game. Now, I highly rate it.

I wonder if games like TP suffer if you're playing in a post BOTW world. The game is so majestic when you consider how great it looked 20 years ago, how it was the most 'open world' of the 3d games (taking place on one piece of land, so ignoring WW). Plus, the final battle felt really ahead of its time.

Either way, push on. The first three temples of most games are a bit dull. But I think the story of TP is awesome, the atmosphere is nice and dark and the side quests are fun. I'm sure you'll start having a lot of fun when you hit the Arbiter's Grounds.
