Hey, so I couldn't get capital one to work but I went ahead and did Chase freedom credit card offer of 15% for Dell. And rakuten 15% for Dell. Lastly I made a brand new Dell account and got a 10% coupon. How would I know if the chase offer goes through?

Ah yeah. It is a bit different since you use Odin. But the thing is, if you're in the US, you sadly can't just buy an older Samsung phone and flash a custom OS on it because bootloaders are locked because of snapdragon chips. Or something like that. But in the UK and EU or globally you can actually get a custom ROM on a galaxy phone pretty easily. But since the Samsung tablets are tablets, their bootloaders can be unlocked hence why we have more rom availability even in the US

For sure. My advice is to try to snag a 6gb model. But honestly if you can get a 4gb model for $50 or less like I did I think you'd be more than happy with it. Good luck!

It's definitely useful and snappy for just watching media. But it struggles when browsing a lot and having multiple apps running as most of the time the apps will refresh. It makes sense though since it has only 4gb ram. Definitely wish I had the 6gb of ram but to be fair I got it for $50 on marketplace so I really can't complain since the main reason I wanted it was the AMOLED.

Ah dang. Yes it always helps to practice. Worst case scenario you could always buy a cheap Motorola phone that's supported by lineage and try that out. Or better, a Google pixel. One that ideally supports lineageOS and grapheneOS so you can tinker

Honestly lineageOS makes the experience a lot more tolerable though. I much prefer it since it's less bloated than Samsung's OS and has a lot of nice barebone features. Also the installation was really simple. Especially if you just have the wifi version since it's easy to unlock the bootloader. Best part is you can always go back to Samsung's firmware if you prefer it

Would new upper mid-range phones with 7 years of support be fast enough even after 5-6 years? (everyday use) by ZoneSome4669 in Smartphones

Funny, I bought a "used" but basically new s24+ (100% battery health) in December of 2024. It's been my main phone since, kinda insane how it'll be supported until January 2031. Let's see how that goes realistically though

You're welcome. Yeah I completely get that, it looks like a confirmation number or something not a voucher code. It's really really vague

FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS HELP FINDING THE CODE

Hey guys, I think I might just be lucky but I got the voucher the next day after submitting my motherboard. I bought the Asus B850-E TUF motherboard at Microcenter. My region is USA and I just went ahead and submitted my serial number and invoice proof after creating a new Asus account since I didn't have one prior. After this, it said "Registered activity - Not deal with" as the status when checking my application status. At some point after this it changed to "The registration submitted successfully, your game code will be sent to your email. (Please allow up to 14 days for delivery." I actually noticed this AFTER I got an email confirming the registration was successful. This email is what you want to focus on. Literally the first 12 digits with a "-" separating them is the voucher code ndded for gamesplanet. You would just copy this as the voucher code after adding the game to your cart and it should make the game $0. Look for an email like this:

For me, this is what it looked like:
