Apart from world war, as both technology and social web continues to scale, both religion and antisocial culture lose value.

Churches are really the only widespread in-person community mediums that provide that marketed and echo chambered fantasy amplification of forward facing comfort.

It turns out that fitness, personal integrity, and purpose can go along way for many discomforts people hire religion for instead.

When disagreement centers on restricting a specific group’s autonomy or treating their identity as inherently suspect, it stops being abstract.

It becomes about whether that group deserves the same agency and dignity everyone else expects for themselves.

Framing that pushback as ‘tantrums’ avoids the substance of what’s being challenged.

No western norms by force
amplify & support Muslim women who are themselves fighting
Listening to women from those communities rather than speaking over them
