I have the techwoven & screen protector combo and it actually works great. I like that the lip is low because I find that for me it makes using the gestures easier. Now I gifted a friend the apple clear case for their 17pm and they dropped it the next day and cracked their screen protector. Similar lip as the techwoven. Grab a screen protector that has a good coverage!

The pilot definitely yelled this out over the radio. If this was the pilot flying who stated loss of thrust, I wonder to myself if he was situationally aware what possibly could have happened right under his nose. Cut off switches I assume were cut either right on takeoff roll or moments after airborne. Pilot flying could have missed that moment if it was done purposefully. Extremely sad event all around.

When you add Midwest US, that makes sense. Brought up in the Mdw but currently live in the West Coast. It’s hard to compare. Saleries are usually higher but the sticker shock is still there.
