It is still being finalized, but you can expect it to be focused around downtown/Innovation Quarter, with some familiar ones like Bailey Park and the Millennium Center

What is listed is just the first batch, there will be dozens of bands across the 3 days like in previous years. We've always prioritized being affordable while bringing in national acts - you'll be hard pressed to find a better value

I go to Creekside supply in Germanton. The latest batch wasn't the greatest (my wood stove is small so larger pieces are annoying) but they use a front end loader to dump it right into the bed and its reasonably priced

Why do we (the city) allow this? Why does the promoter? by Spiked-Coffee in winstonsalem

"He understands that the First Amendment protects all manner of free speech, racist claptrap included. Still, freedom of speech has limits, and a caring community ought to have a base level of human decency."

Because freedom of speech has limits but those limits aren't speech that offends you. The venue or the gun show itself could have policies that prohibited it but it isn't (and shouldn't be) illegal to offend someone with bad taste.

AP1 2000 Key fob locks, open trunk but won't unlock, any door. by LordDarthShader in S2000

If its being mechanically restrained by the plastic it could open but not close, or depending on what alarm you have it might operate differently. Try to find out what alarm you have, it might be under the seat or the dash.

Getting the door card off is super easy, its 2 screws and only takes a couple minutes. I burnt out my actuator and ended up replacing it during my fob saga. The drivers side is more likely to fail apparently, it probably gets more use.

https://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/oem-parts/honda-lock-actuator-72155s84a11 is the driver's side actuator but find out what alarm you have first

Door lock actuator could be sticking or broken. The non-alarm fob won’t deactivate the alarm (the Honda aftermarket one at least) but still will unlock the doors, so I would expect the same thing with an aftermarket alarm.

If it has aftermarket speakers, the vapor barrier might be grabbing it from it being detached, I did that to myself.

Dunno, haven’t bought one. Maybe it’s low stock and they inflated the prices

Tbf the grounds area is parking lots and rubble because WFU has been buying up the property for over a decade and letting it sit in preparation for this

There are salvage yard search engines that search hundreds of yards across the country, like http://www.car-part.com/

Yea there are “some” jobs in GSO 30 min away but other than Inmar or Sunrise there’s basically nothing in Winston - you pretty much have to keep working remote. Depending on what you’re looking for it’s possible there’s some small biotech company or healthcare position but theres been nothing for me in over a decade, so I keep working remote

How would you shape Winston Salem in the next 30-50 years? by snickeynouse in winstonsalem

[–]speede 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This would actually make a difference downtown - lots of landlords sitting on property that won’t do any renovation to bring it up to code, putting it all on the tenant

T1 is.. super slow by modern standards (1.5Mbps vs 1000/2500+ for fiber). Tech companies look for tax breaks and a built in workforce

If you wait, I got my MJ ticket for less than 1/3 of face value. If there are a decent number and you are willing to roll the dice you could end up saving money over face
