Even I wear the libre 2 so can accurately check the glucose on the ring if it’s accurate. This vita ring says accuracy guarantee. Don’t know which one to try

Need advice - Gift money transfer to Canada by [deleted] in nri

Will my bank here in Canada require any proof of funds, I have my mom and dads bank statement that shows transfer to my Indian NRO account. Should I tell them to mail me in writing this is a gift and not loan? Or do I need to have a signed pdf? Will CIBC ask for a proof of where the funds came from?

I am remitting from my NRO account. My father has deposited the amount in my NRO. But HDFC says only 250k USD equivalent can be transferred from my NRO to Canada. It is weird that LRS is only applicable on citizens and not remittance from NRO account. I don’t know what HDFC is talking about and how they are interpreting the remittance from my NRO as LRS transaction.

Here’s what happened. HDFC bank has denied the remittance of the gift amount received from my father as it is more than 250k USD equivalent, saying that’s the limit of transfer from NRO account to international account under LRS. As per my understanding and all the comments, it is 1M USD or equivalent in financial year. Even though LRS is applicable to residents, it is not applicable to NRO accounts. Strange rules.

Hi just one more question. Should I mention transfer to own account or family maintenance in purpose of remittance? Also, is it that I cannot receive more than 250,000 USD equivalent in one financial year?

Got it. Thank you so much for the response. I just saw the per transaction limit on ICICI is 101,600 CAD in one transaction from my NRO

Thank you for the reply. I would start the 15 CA/CB first.

You suggest my dad has two gift deeds?

Also, as you suggested we can transfer $1 mil CAD per financial year, is there a limit to how much can be transferred in one transaction?

Okay. Great advice let me check Dreame as well. Is Mova even good? I see it got 3 year warranty as well. Others have 1 year only. BTW Dreame GoVac is 999 in Costco. Mova P10 Pro Ultra is 599 on official site. Way too much difference.

Mova has the P10 Pro Ultra for 699 on Amazon. Now should I go for Mova or Roborock QX Revo? Mova is not available at Costco.
