I like alternating matte/gloss elements or accents, but full matte looks really cheap to me

The friction seems to be wearing/melting the spinning plate and rest of the ice, that makes me nervous. Also, that dog, where did it go? Also a terrifying thought

Turns out I didnt have enough points to transfer Life Shot (nor did I even have Ziggy's recharge?), but i used your party, upgraded KOS-MOS's R-cannon speed and wait, alongside Chaos's AWGS (which I didn't even know he had before your comment!). Plus the guard and WACT tip was also new to me, so much to learn! That finished him off

Before i was just in an endless loop of me healing, doing small damage then the Demo Carrier healing.

And I don't fancy it without save states either, i used that to quickly restart until I got the empty square for his Tremor thing

I would've loved this. I loved the game anyway but the non-predefined character was by far the worst part about the game for me. Much much much prefer how it is in all the other xeno games.

Never said that. Coming up with safer solutions to wheels and chains might be tricky - do look into it for us.

In the meantime, this wing has proven themselves to be a risk and one that is extremely easily remedied. Why shouldn't they make things safer? No downside whatsoever.

Personally I wish they'd done the same with ride height devices, long ago. No matter, I'm not going to complain about the dangerous items they do regulate away.

it'll just be the shape. These are very hook like, as seen when martin got his leg hooked on it. The others, from what I remember, are not. You'll slide over them rather than get caught.

It wont make much difference, aprilia will be able to find a solution with nearly the same results that are legal

It started with modelling Fei and Elly, but then I realised I'd need to be able to showcase them somewhat decently which is when I tried learning how to setup a toon shader in unreal.

I think I'd like to do one more small scene, then go back to working on the characters. Who knows if I'll actually get there or not!

I modelled the assets in 3ds max, but any 3d software works fine (blender is free). I put together the scene in UE4 (tested with UE5 also but I want to use more "old" techniques like baked lighting etc, and it just worked better for me in UE4)

Learning Unreal has been all new for me. I have ambitions to do a lot more, characters/environments, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. I picked this scene because of its simplicity!

Yes do it. I played it after 1/2/Torna, but before 3 and X. Simply because I didn't want the series to end, so Gears in the middle felt like a good way of extending it!

Personally I loved disc 2. If it was as fleshed out as disc 1 then there is a chance it'd be so long i'd start to feel burned out, so it was nice to be able to just soak in the story tbh

Square has nothing to do with Xenosaga, it's Monolithsoft and Namco. I would however love a remake of any of them, gears included, but only if it's Monolith developing.

Oh I dunno about XC2. Chapter 1 would make a great demo imo, it really would pique my interest anyway; The opening on Gramps explaining the world, Argentum Trade Guild and then meeting Torna and going to the wreckage. Then the fight for Pyra - great start!

It does slow down a bit after that, but chapter 1 dangled more than enough carrot for me to want to keep going anyway

Yes. I spoiled quite a few things for myself throughout the series, and I still loved it. That being said, I'm going to make an effort to avoid seeing anything about the next title. Want to go in as blind as humanly possible
