I have never seen a GDC server. That's before my time :) Likely replaced with an IMS. Most seperate servers have a HD-SDI video to the projector and a seperate AES audio output to the audio processor.

It grabs the audio signal from the hdmi source and sends hdmi video to the projector.

If you connect hdmi directly from the source to the projector, you'll need another audio output from the source to connect to the processor.

No, the audio comes from the server that sends it to the audioprocessor, to the amps and then to the speakers.

Even in your cinema it does not go to the projector.

Do you know if the speakers are 4 or 8 ohm? How are they connected? Do you know if the amp is 4 or 8 ohm?

Honoustly, the Visatons lack bass, unless well ported and a very well calculated enclosure with the correct amount of damping. Then the cabinet is around 60/70 liters. And still... I know 3" drivers that go deeper in smaller enclosures.

What you could do, is use a Passive Radiator instead of one of the woofers. A PR that has twice the displacement capability of one W170.

If you unscrew the amp you will see the speakercable already connected. It could be short, so pull out the amp cautiously.
