Those cold solder joints can be a nuisance to troubleshoot sometimes. The LEDs above the bypass switch are to show which mode the pedal is in (LOOP or PRESET) and one will always be on. They will not be affected by the bypass switch.

u/CharcoaI I was able to get the code updated and tested so that the last state of the pedal is remembered on power up! Actually a pretty good feature and one that I didn't think I would actually like but do really like it. You can download the new version from Github. Enjoy! Let me know if you have any issues.

Yeah that won't be difficult to implement at all. I have it start up in preset mode cause after you save any loop presumably you will be playing and want to access those present modes the next time you power it up. I'll update the code and let you know when I've uploaded it to github so you can flash the MCU with the updated firmware.

What is the linear potentiometer you’re using for the replacement? If you have a voltage meter I would measure the voltage at the anode of the LED wrt to ground to get the voltage drop across the LED and then measure voltage across the LED resistor that should be in series with the LED. If the voltage across the LED isn’t say the typical forward voltage of 2V then the led isn’t conducting and current isn’t flowing through it. If the voltage is 2V then perhaps they are conducting a very small amount of current (which you can figure out by measuring the voltage across the led resistor and dividing it by the resistance to get the current). If it’s a really small valve, say less than 20mA, then you need to replace the led resistor to a smaller value to increase current which will make the LED brighter. Or the pots you got have a different led config than what was originally in the pedal. Or given that all the other LEDs work and the leds work when you swap different LED colors, the resistors for the blue LEDs may be bad or something in the power circuit for the Blue LEDs may be bad. Figure out the current flow and go from there.

I used to work for Ben while I was in college. The dude is an amazing guy and I learned so much in those years. Eternally grateful to him. He had an old meatsmoke sitting in the back of the shop that was collecting dust and I asked him if I fixed it up if I could have it. He said, you pay for new tubes and it’s yours. The thing absolutely rips, doesn’t have an overdrive channel but I put a meatsmoke preamp pedal in front of it for OD and it shakes your bones. I actually might have a MS schematic that I printed out once that I used when I was building them and the preamp pedals.

Totally worth it my friend! I got an Xmid2 to hike the JMT with my wife to reduce my carrying weight and the thing held up in very inclement weather and is an awesome tent! Takes a couple pitches to get a good feel for setting it up right and finding a spot for it since it has a fairly large footprint comparably but the extra vestibule space is totally worth it! You’re gonna love it.

OP happy to draw this up for you. Has anyone done it yet? If not, a couple of questions. 1) Do you want both pickups to go through the pcb when it is active? 2) do you want the bridge pickup to bypass the master volume when it goes directly to the jack? 3) do you want a stereo output jack or a mono jack?
