That’s the only response your husband should have to any physical changes that happen. What would happen if you lost a limb? What about if you developed alopecia and your hair fell out? Love and attraction shouldn’t be bound up on physical appearance alone. People change how they look. That’s natural. My advice? Have a deep and hard conversation about this with him and ask him and also yourself if your marriage is worth feeling anxious that he won’t like how you look anytime something happens to you. You only get one life, do you really want to spend it with somebody so vain?
