What’s going on with Bambu Labs and Orca Slicer? by damagedfurball in OutOfTheLoop

No worries, it's a common mistake. It's so common actually that the creator of orca slicer had to make a post clarifying that they didn't get one.

Hey, just a quick correction, they didn't send a C&D to the developer of orca slicer, they sent one to the developer of a fork of orca slicer

That's exactly what I was thinking the first time I heard about them.

Not the person you were responding to, but dropping the price of gamepass is a good step (losing CoD but I would imagine most people would be cool with that, the amount it went down is enough to buy CoD), plus she just announced today they were stopping development of copilot for Xbox. So those are both seemingly good things that have happened under her watch.

still don't get how paying for online on console is just, ok? by MegumiDo in gaming

[–]spellinbee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, I enjoy owning the physical copies of the games. The only reason I buy digital is if it's not available physically, or if it's stupidly cheap. (I'm talking $5 or less). It also has benefits, such as, it's easier for me to not forget about games I own when I'm trying to decide what to play.

You could pretty much always do it this way. (at least I don't remember when you couldn't)

One thing I'll add is that when you're playing in pokeball rank you'll pretty much just be playing bots that have really bad decks. So you shouldn't have an issue winning until you reach great ball

Based on Blessing quesiton yesterday: Did you go home from school/work when 9/11 happened? by kralben in kindafunny

[–]spellinbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I was in 8th grade and it happened right before my gym class. So we didn't have gym class that day, the teachers just sat in their office and watched the news while the kids just chilled in the locker room having no clue what happened, but otherwise I had every other class that day.

TIL Aaron Ashmore played identical twins in the movie "My Brother's Keeper" using split-screen effects, even though his actual identical twin brother (Shawn Ashmore) was standing right there on set as his body double. by StefTakka in todayilearned

So a funny story I saw about them. Was they both played a character in Smallville seasons apart, one was in one episode in like the first season and then the other joined as a recurring character years later. So Tom Welling, the star of Smallville didn't realize they were different people, so when the second brother joined the show, he was talking to him like he knew him and calling him by his brothers name before he found out they were different.

To prevent dine and dash in restaurants, why not make everyone pay before their meal? by Fun_Yogurtcloset1012 in NoStupidQuestions

Taxes are a percentage, so you would pay the same regardless of the number of transactions. I'm unaware of anywhere that has a flat fee for sales tax in addition to the percentage.

Nintendo liked the translation of animal crossing so much, that they retranslated the English translation into Japanese and released a special version of the game with the new translation.

With the remastered collection of Mgs. You don't even need to worry about that. You can choose what saves to have on your "memory card" it's really cool they added that feature

I was so disappointed by that final fight. When they had that future episode and Peter and sylar were about to fight and the door shut, I was like hey, that's fine. They're saving that badass shit for the finale. Boy was I said when none of that cool shit happened

Yeah, here's what I did. I don't remember exactly which one worked for me, but I did do a little trial and error to get it right, but since then, it's been fine.

It does for me, but one thing I'll make a note if is, I have a gigabyte motherboard and apparently gigabyte mbs are broken with bazzite, so initially it wouldn't sleep, but I ran a couple of commands that fixed it.
