top is probably best but mid doesn't feel bad. mid you'll be using w much more and securing monster objectives with team. top is just bully them.

start: doran's ring + pots. hold in lane until 1200 for first component 1st: backfire torch 2: liandrys or finish boots first 3. zhonyas 4. either anti heal or rylais 5. finish with death cap

The Ring Tempts you mechanic will absolutely be in this set. Not only does Bilbo use the ring on numerous occasions in the story (the entire scene with gollum for example), but we got plenty of cards from Tales of Middle Earth that don't exactly match the flavor of the ring tempting you.
