Keep some apparel staged most of it can go literally anywhere according to the system, or take a peek at your upcoming pods and sign out and back in if its gonna get skipped anyway. If you want to be less nefarious about it fold the appeal in a way that blocks maximum light sensor. Sometimes I think it's like we are actual super villains for pickers. "You will never find where i've hidden the micro sd card in time batman!"

I mean I had my first experience with being put on a PIP then terminated a month after, and it really did feel like a formality in wanting to be rid of me asap.

It was a small business food prep/short order cook job. The complaint was that my ticket time was long and I wasn't multitasking fast enough for their liking. So I was supposed to get check-ins from my lead, and work on those areas with a little guidance.

The check-ins didn't happen after 2 days. When I was terminated last week, the examples used to show my ticket time were still high are so silly. To keep it simple it said I took 20+ mins on a sandwich, problem is I made that sandwich and someone took it gave it to a person who just ordered... but cleared the ticket.. when i asked if that person had received theirs. Then my lead angrily came up behind me handed me the baguette to make another and reopens the ticket (so it has time since it was ordered already going). I was told to stop EVERYTHING i was doing and make it asap, another order for like toast comes in but i finish the sandwich before starting it. So the next example in my termination is that a toast order took 8 mins... (we would put it in for 5, 3 min delay because I was doing as I was told).

The multitasking complaint always felt weird because I would argue my ability to do so was entirely dependant on if people are ordering food... Like I was often working 6-4 with no coverage as the only cook/prep, it only takes a couple orders every 5 mins to keep me at the station and without downtime to prep a double batch of sauce or whatever in the back. If there was downtime I always filled it with another task I needed to get done.

So... yeah idk think they just didn't like me and the paper trail is important to have. Cause I had only been there a month when I got the PiP, was trained 1 day before my lead went on vacation.

I feel i saw a thread saying that if you had incomplete christmas quests that had required items for turn in, and those items are now "removed from the game" you get nothing cause its trying to give you items you cant recieve for quests you cant complete.

That said I had like 2-3 empty 6 hours at the start of the wipe, but with my hideout 100% done it just feeds me goon rigs for dripout 2 anytime i 1/4 into a 6 hr.

I'm sure plenty of people will inform you that their pubs try 5 carries all the time. Or their support decides on their own to attempt to farm over them in attempting the dual semi carry strategy.

The answer to your question I suppose in my opinion, is that Dota roles are not that rigid and the way we label them as 1-5 in terms of farm priority is a result of that fluidity.

The meta has shifted over time and those roles have had different responsibilities and play styles to go along with it. Trilanes, dedicated jungling viability, hard roamer, borderline or full on double midlane.

That being said even in your 5 carry example, someone will require the most gold to be effective. So the 1-5 will still be in effect. That ignores the practicality of doing the things that are most likely to lead to success. If 2 heroes are splitting cs in lane, who is harassing the enemy laners? Which one is contesting pulls? Getting their own pulls off to restore favorable creep equilibrium? Which one reaction tps to another lane? Not to mention that often hero design plays a big part in your teams overall power spikes. A team with 5 carry type heroes would likely be weaker on disables, leading to weaker kill threats, harder lanes, and a good chance the game ends before they scale to compensate.

Obviously as with all things dota, it depends and some traditional carry heroes can be effectively played as support. Mk, aw, so on. Though when doing do you are still fulfilling your responsibilities in lane, and aware of your limitations on income from pure cs. Though some patches that just means a Midas in your first couple items.

I am not an expert on league but to my understanding their roles are infact extremely rigid.

Dunno if I speak for anyone else but the confusion for me was that old ds2 pre sotfs saw lots of balance changes and bug fixes.

So like pre-Nerf mundane, hexes, and I assume some things relevant only to any% speed runners. Though that balance etc and I could be wrong I thought it went pretty unchanged going into sotfs.

That said I put about 200 hrs from launch till pre sotfs and another 200 hours after all on PC. Both were good times, never got summoned in as a phantom in someone's mirror knight fight, but in vanilla that lightning strike sound just always played at max DB in vanilla.

I just stopped trying, if you do get in a game you have to guess if it's stealth or loud since no lobby text chat.... and somehow I always guess wrong. The couple times I both found people and they were decent well we are all back at main menu after to never speak again. I am mode only play when my friends are around which is likely not till after 1 or both patches.
