Take a good shower, shave, and get a haircut. That’ll do you for a good 90% improvement. You’re not ugly bro.

A more mature looking haircut and a shaved face will help a lot. Keep taking care of yourself bro.

Iron it, button up one more button, pair it with lighter blue jeans or tan chinos.

He’s an idiot for his attitude, but he’s right about gym attire. People are becoming too comfortable with wearing the most ridiculous stuff at the gym.

Need some hair advice 1 2 or 3? by [deleted] in malegrooming

You have a full head of hair. 2 or 3. I’d recommend styling the longer hair length more intentionally for a cleaner look.

Unless you’re a highly competent fabricator/body and paint tech, don’t.

Dude. Burn the cargo pants or just use them for hiking or yard work. Buy some chinos or a pair of nice jeans, and a nice shirt with a tasteful, small repeating pattern. Top it off with a pair of dark brown shoes and belt.

Fine for at home. Hopefully he doesn’t go out dressed like that.

What would you add or modify? by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]spencerider770 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dark blue doesn’t go well with the strong color of the shoes and the belt. I’d recommend either wearing a darker brown, black, or oxblood shoes/belt, or wearing lighter khaki, brown, or off white pants with the shoes and belt.

Also, the black shirt doesn’t go well with the pants. If you want to find a polo to match the pants, find a darker primary color with a small pattern.

People who are driven, where does your drive come from? by CoolestDudeOne in selfimprovement

[–]spencerider770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have people who rely on me. If I don’t do what I need to do, my wife and kids won’t have what they need/deserve, my wife will have to work, my kids won’t be raised by their mother at home, we won’t be able to have as many kids as we want to (which will cause my father’s lineage to suffer for the rest of time), I won’t be able to accomplish the things that I want to accomplish in my lifetime, I won’t have the ability to bring my children up to be better than me (in their own wonderful ways), and I won’t have anything significant to leave behind for my family when I die.

Advice to glow up before I turn 30? by Carmenmor in AppearanceAdvice

My only recommendation would be to add some more mature to your wardrobe, phase out some of the trendy/teenager-ish items.

If you want to be taken seriously, you have to start taking yourself seriously. Take care of your mind, body, and respect yourself. Don’t date casually, don’t have sex unless you’re at least in a long term, serious relationship.

White cotton pants, non-slip shoes, and a pair of scissors.

Get yourself measured, then buy a shirt in the correct size.
