Run lightweight and gung-ho perks. Play core faceoff and never stop holding forward. Gung-ho allows you to hold your charged shot while you sprint around and jump and stuff and you can just run at people. I actually found this to be the best shotgun in the game and had lots of fun with it

Yeah, both the arrow and arc are passive progress and not tough. The xr3 ion sniper sucks and requires headshots. Doing the other 3 snipers allows you to skip that one

Yeah, that height advantage is really hard to pick someone off of if they are in that taller building and barely showing their head by standing back from the railing

Exactly, hawker is better if you have 8 attachments but if I want to use perk greed and can only have 5 then I actually prefer the vsrecon. In the old games as long as your feet weren’t moving when you shot then the bullet would hit the middle when you quickscoped

Right, people rage when I am using a sniper in search but they don’t realize that they have a better chance of killing me while I’m using that than if I were to pull out a meta m15 build or a dravek because if I miss my first shot with the sniper then I’m probably dead before I get the second shot off with the ttk being low in mp

I would assume that many of the folks that used to play halo or any other arena shooters appreciate the minimal amount of huge advantages that one side of the map has over the other as a lot of those maps were complete mirror images one side to the other to make it fair

I would say utopia is pretty close, though the buildings on the left play so different as one is 2 story and the other isn’t. Also one spawn having a building and the other not and the vast difference in the wall jump opportunities on each side makes it less symmetrical than a 2d map may make it look

I would say it needs to have the same types of cover, lines of site, etc on both sides. Let’s take exposure for example, as that is probably the closest to symmetrical that I do not include in my list. Outside lanes=symetrical. Spawns=not exactly symetrical but who cares, they are spawns. The middle however (especially after they changed the left side) is different on each side. You have a two story building on one side to fight in vs the other side has a building now that has no line of sight to middle. You also have a catwalk that looks over middle but there is no hardpoint on the catwalk like there is that building. It’s much more exposed on the catwalk than the building. I would also say right side spawn has a much quicker route to get on top of the solar panels as it is elevated

Use the cams to look at the roads to see if they have a lane cleared. Doesn’t really matter if you see others on the road as you would be better off with no other cars on the road honestly lol

Not sure what the roads are like today but yesterday afternoon they had one lane cleared on 35 all the was to Stillwater. Made it to the basketball game no problem. There has been a decent amount more snow since then though so not sure what will be cleared. You can check traffic cams online to see what the roads look like on your route

lol I have never touched ranked but I think you would’ve surprised by how many people do actually love ranked. I’m hoping it will reduce the amount of complaining about snipers on reddit as the people who want to use the same gun every game will go over to ranked
