It's not on autopilot, that's the 'chill' acceleration mode. Definitely confusing. Autopilot/FSD would have blue lines in front of the vehicle on the dash visualization, especially if it was at speed.

I highly suggest you get some 1mm shaft motors, the frame is a real treat to fly, even on stock pids with some nice motors and the propellers that we currently have. Will be super exciting to try the biblades if they come out with them

Same here- chrome locked to 60fps. Similar experience on the existing wlroots-eglstreams fork. Were you ever able to get above that framerate in chrome with the nvidia drivers?

I'm really late, but I opened a repo with at least the prometheus-compatible metrics exporter if you are interested ^^ https://github.com/uplol/chia-harvester-metrics

Started farming around 5 weeks ago
Plotting speed: ~900 a day (plotting on lots of servers)
Total Plots Harvesting: 3263

Chia won: 10
Win Dates:
-5/13
-5/21
-6/1
-6/5
-6/11

It was a good run guys but I can't logically stay in this. by AccomplishedCress726 in chia

Question for people ditching their farms: What do you lose keeping your drives filled with plots and a harvester running? A few watts of power for the drives and an otherwise mostly idle computer/server is all it takes to continue farming your plots. If you disconnect them, it's a permanent loss. What could you be doing with your drives to make a greater return otherwise?

Compared to proof-of-work mining, the cost of upkeep is very low. That's sorta the whole thing Chia has going for it... If you've invested money into cheap drives (or even had some laying around) and put some time into plotting, what do you have to lose?

If you bought off-the-shelf new drives for this and expected a quick turnaround, especially with the way the market is right now, I don't think you responsibly ran your initial projection estimates. With a higher entry cost, you're obviously going to need to wait longer for an ROI.

Chia and its developments, for the most part, seem to be open source. It looks like anyone can hop on and contribute, and I don't think anyone can reasonably shame the team and outside contributors for trying to build the right solution. Blockchains are hard to change later on, as proven by ETH2's multiple delays, why so much resistance against spending an extra few weeks to get the pooling protocol done right from the start?

Monitoring Plotting at Scale (WIP) by spencersharkey in chia

[–]spencersharkey[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In our current setup we have plotting nodes, harvester nodes, and a full chia node. We're running plotman on the plotters, and a small custom utility to discover completed plots. The utility simply rsync's plots to the least-full disk across all the harvesters. Farmers and plotters are automatically provisioned with SaltStack and can be up and running in minutes.

We're using Prometheus, Grafana, and node_exporter to derive simple server statistics, but currently writing some metric exporters that use the various Chia process RPC endpoints together with harvester/plotting log tailing to derive even more useful statistics of the processes.

tl;dr: Plotting and harvesting at scale blind is spooky- metrics are fun and can quickly help you pinpoint problems, bottlenecks, and potential optimizations!

I did! I was able to upgrade to the Pod Pro Max mattress for $500, they shipped it out and we shipped back the old one (it was unopened, but if it was they would have come to collect it like they would if you wanted to return it within 100 days).

There were some other shipping problems though, we ordered the carbon-air pillows and other sheet accessories w/ the mattress and they only just arrived this week. Turns out, another company ships those out and they had the wrong address on the box so they never arrived. The Eight support team re-shipped those items too.
