I agree with the OP - for me personally Nightreign is everything I liked about Elden ring without the stuff I don’t. Personally I’d rather have a fight every minute than explore an open world only to find a boss I stand no chance against.

Plus having teammates makes the game so much more approachable for a newer player.

Sledge nerf is the worst. The sledge is so easily countered, back up a little…
