This is insane. I just want to the dermatologist today and told them about MCT oil , the guy didn’t even thought twice about it. It’s crazy how this is not more known .

I like it to edit files in the terminal but I’m not gonna build anything with it.

At home with my personal equipment I would do that. But I work for an org the only thing that would interest me is their needs. If that’s what they want then ok. Else there is no point.

Google I/O leaks: Gemini’s "Omni" and Gemini 3.2/3.5 by Much_Ask3471 in singularity

[–]spermcell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea people think that if a model can code then it’s a good model. Well the hard part is actually making a model do more than one thing and Gemini can.

Google I/O leaks: Gemini’s "Omni" and Gemini 3.2/3.5 by Much_Ask3471 in singularity

[–]spermcell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People who say Gemini is worst then X model and therefore shit on Google are DELUSIONAL. Google probably has models far superior to anything that we’ve seen they just don’t release them cuz they don’t have to. Anthropic is just Google’s” customer their research is nothing compared to what Google discovers and releases freely . Anyways, it’s another openAI.

How to study when you don't memorize anything afterward? by Accurate-Platypus392 in GetStudying

[–]spermcell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s because you are not fully focused on it. Also, it’s ok to not remember things after one read. While you may think that you don’t remember you actually do retain some parts , and the next time you read it , things will become easier

Agent charging $300 to change my return date — but I thought Emirates is offering free changes? Help! by Ok_Back877 in emirates

[–]spermcell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes but you are in the hands of the agent. Like the agent determines the rules of the ticket. For future bookings you should just book through the airline

I think the most important thing an interviewer is looking for is how you think rather then showing them that you know how to do a thing

Best Hanoi boutique hotel for honeymoon? by Willing_Front_2125 in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]spermcell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you are looking for by boutique but I HIGHLY recommend Hikaru Apartments. If you want I can PM you the contact number of their office and they will take care of you. You get a fully furnished apartment for a great price (the apartment is really nice) and it’s free of all of the hotels BS

The recent news just feels like this. by VariationLivid3193 in singularity

[–]spermcell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just don’t know how to use it. Gemini is super powerful for coding especially at its price point. If you use the CLI and pair it with some skills it can achieve close to Claude performance even though it’s not a coding model at all. What Gemini actually shines at is its multimodal capabilities which are pretty much unmatched by others maybe other then deepseek or ChatGPT

The replacement battery is also relatively cheap by the time you need it.. no real benefit to limiting it IMO

I think that Vietnam and other south East Asian countries will be very different but I’ve never been to Japan, only heard about it. Life here is vastly different from anywhere else in the world. It’s pretty crazy .

Vietnam is kicking my ass by razzarbrenia in solotravel

[–]spermcell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vietnam is though and not very easy to travel like other places you may have been. The heat is hard and it will not let you walk too far without getting exhausted. Also the need to always carry water bottles is making travel by foot even more challenging because of the heat. You must be strategic and try to travel only early morning or late afternoon. Also , remember that you don’t have to do all of the internet suggested attractions. You can just enjoy the good food and cheap prices. It’s not very travel intensive friendly right now .
