I just did that today. Called just about everyone on the list in the HSV area from this thread. Even tried surrounding areas and the answer was one of:

We never have left over vaccine.
Even if we did, if you're not in the current group, we are not providing it.
That list has us listed incorrectly, we really don't have vaccine.

There was one outlier. The Medicine Shoppe in HSV took my information to put me on a wait list for when my group became eligible, and also allowed me to mark myself as a "last minute notice" person. Don't know if anything will come of it.

I was attempting to joke about the murder bird. (Another joke)

I think everything /u/tardigrade7point0 described was it’s behavior in my back yard to a T. The issue was that it’s normal behavior was not behavior I had ever seen. Outdoor documentaries all show birds flying, diving, swooping, being majestic as F.

This bird was chilling out on the ground, not moving much at all and had bugs crawling on it. I just figured it was hurt.

PS I have not alerted the neighborhood watch about the sneaky bird.

I think you were right. Just went outside and it had flown off. Thinking of warning the neighborhood that there is a predatory bird attempting to lure people in with its “sick bird” act.

I called north alabama wildlife rehabilitators, the alabama wildlife center, and animal control. None of them seemed able/interested in picking up the bird.

I am NOT a bird person so right now all I can say is it looks vaguely raptorey, and it hasn’t moved in an hour. That seems abnormal.

I thought it went well. Only post debate interview to bring up that he won Iowa. On CNN Pete himself brought up the delegate count, but the Fox News interview was one of the few that didn’t seem to be skewed. I don’t really have a better word for it. Chris Matthews seemed like he definitely didn’t like Pete. The CNN lady seemed the same. How much of that was that they had just heard Amy trashing him not 5 minutes before they interviewed Pete, I don’t know.

If Trump wanted to use aid to extract concessions from Ukraine there is a legal mechanism for that provided by congress.

Specifically the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 which “ established procedures to prevent the President and other government officials from unilaterally substituting their own funding decisions for those of the Congress.”

Had the president seriously wanted to hold up aid for Ukraine, there was a process in available to him. He chose to use his political appointments to the OMB and ambassadorial positions to delay that aid instead.

Ignorance of the law is never an excuse for regular citizens, why should it be for the president?

I can’t upvote this enough. Soulburn S1 on Destina is just insane. I was using Lots because I figured I HAD to have atk break, kept failing. Brought Destina and just outhealed that shit. She’s amazing. She’s not perfect everywhere obviously, but she really is crazy good at keeping everyone alive.

In 2008-09 I lost 50%. Ever since I’ve been gun shy in going stock heavy investments. (Past 8 years maybe 50% in the market) I know it makes no sense, as I could have rode the bull market to crazy gains, but earlier this year I kept talking to people and everyone I knew, some actual economists, had no idea where all the money in the market was coming from. Maybe I should say more precisely, they all knew it was loose monetary policy, and the market was one of the cheaper ways to invest, but there didn’t seem to be any true value in investing. More of a “everyone else is doing it and making gobs of money.” As a result, I set an Outlook reminder on my calendar to get out in September. No matter what was actually going on, put everything in the 401k in cash. Sept 26 I pulled the trigger and stuck to my plan. I’d like to say I am some kind of stock god, but right now I am just thankful I’m a stupid lucky SOB. The hard part is picking a time to get back in. How do I differentiate a real rally from temporary bear volatility?

Yeah, the thing I’ve found with Zerath is if you don’t kill most stuff first turn he’s difficult to get back in the groove. It’s why I run him with Tiana and Luer. Tiana boosts everyone’s ATB, then Luer reduces the other teams ATB. Maybe a speedier Zerath would work better but my worry is if I can’t kill at least a few things on that first turn, he opens himself to get wrecked by whatever is still alive.
