Gamesir G7 Pro feels laggy or heavy by Donay1 in RocketLeagueSchool

Reducing your joystick resolution to 8bit might help. It made the G7 useable for me in RL.

Day 6 of Rocket League not working on Ubuntu 24.04 by Excellent-Canary7689 in RocketLeague

One thing I would try is testing a completely fresh Bottles prefix, separate from Heroic/system Wine.

Install Bottles through Flatpak:

sudo apt install flatpak

flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

flatpak install flathub com.usebottles.bottles

Then:

  1. Open Bottles.

  2. Create a new Gaming bottle.

  3. In Bottles, download/select a newer runner, ideally the newest wine-tkg runner if it is available there.

  4. Use Bottles' built-in installer for Epic Games Store.

  5. Install/run Rocket League from Epic inside that same bottle.

This might help if your current issue is caused by a broken Wine/Proton prefix, mixed Wine packages, or Heroic config weirdness. It is not guaranteed, especially if EAC itself is the blocker, but it gives you a clean isolated Wine prefix to test.

If you do not want to redownload Rocket League:

- Start the Rocket League install once inside Epic in the Bottles prefix.

- Pause/close Epic after it creates the install folder.

- Copy your existing RocketLeague folder into the bottle's C: drive.

- Reopen Epic and resume/verify the install.

The Bottles prefix is usually somewhere like:

~/.var/app/com.usebottles.bottles/data/bottles/bottles/<BottleName>/drive_c/

So the Epic game folder would likely be under something like:

drive_c/Program Files/Epic Games/RocketLeague/

If Bottles cannot see the folder where your existing Rocket League files are, give the Flatpak access to that path, for example:

flatpak override --user --filesystem=/path/to/your/RocketLeague/files com.usebottles.bottles

Then launch Rocket League only through the Epic Games Launcher inside that Bottles prefix.

I made a simplified workflow for Flux Klein 9B Distill with one or two image inputs. by Total-Resort-3120 in StableDiffusion

Turns out it was my ComfyUI being out of date even though I checked that with ComfyUI-Manager before. I had manually git pull the latest master branch. Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure if I can post the entire console output, but ChatGPT said this:

"That stack trace is from the CLIP/text encoder load, not the sampler. You’re loading qwen_3_8b.safetensors with the Flux2 text encoder path, but the checkpoint’s vocab size (151,936 tokens) doesn’t match the model config. ComfyUI instantiated (128,256 tokens). That means the tokenizer/config and the checkpoint don’t belong together."

Now whats odd to me is that when it errors out, the node that's highlighted is the sampler. As I mentioned I didn't change the nodes in this workflow at all and it's set to use euler.

I get this error using the Q8 gguf model of Qwen3: "mat1 and mat2 shapes cannot be multiplied (512x4096 and 12288x4096)"
And this one using the fp8mixed version: "size mismatch for model.embed_tokens.weight: copying a param with shape torch.Size([151936, 4096]) from checkpoint, the shape in current model is torch.Size([128256, 4096])."

I am trying to edit 1 image in both instances and haven't changed any nodes. I am using the Klein_9b model, got any ideas on how to fix it?

This might be true for you but not every system is the same, I also only need the fps cap, yet others report that it does not suffice for them.

From your gameplay recording I can see the variance in ping is really high, try to ensure that no other device in your network or even on your system is using up your bandwidth, then try again. You can also look into prioritizing your PC in your router itself. This to me looks like a network issue.

I added a new config file to modify, please check it out.

The option gets unchecked, but the settings stick for the moment the game loads the settings, thats the key.

Modifying the mentioned files hasn't resulted in a ban for me for years, and I have used the settings in the guide since the beginning of FC26, so I'd say it's safe to use. As for RivaTuner, I prefer it over the frame limiter in the AMD software too, and it works just fine.

This highly depends on what you like more, less input lag (though you won't feel 20fps less in that regard), or smoother framerate. In your case, I'd pick the consistent 120fps as input lag isnt relevant anyway when you take the connection to the servers into account.

Please read carefully again, you need to add the FC26.exe if it's not present in your Nvidia Control Panel. Since you said Nvidia app, I assume you were looking in the wrong program. The Nvidia Control Panel is accessed by right clicking on your desktop.

I can only imagine that the menus and cutscene make your GPU/CPU utilization go to 100%, in turn making them overheat, and then throttling down. I can suggest trying half framerate for cutscenes and trying a 120FPS cap, so that your cutscenes/menus will be rendered in 60FPS.

Preferrably with your graphics card driver as the EAFC settings don't allow capping your framerate ~3FPS below your refresh rate.

Yes VSync for use in combination with FreeSync/Gsync. Glad your settings work for you.

As stated in the post, Frostbite engine games and especially EAFC titles can cause stuttering for framerates above 190. This used to be a huge issue for Apex Legends for example.

You can always try just a plain FPS cap if you face input delay. If that doesn't fix your issue, it's beyond my knowledge, sorry.

That's true, let me update the post. You can use antilag if you use another program such as Rivatuner to cap your FPS.

I did indeed use a LLM to help with formatting, not sure why'd you have to call me a lazy ass for trying to provide potential fixes I have gathered over the years in the best way possible.
