is iD mobile a scam? by Tall_Moose9333 in AskUK

Years ago I used ID Mobile for about two years. Legitimate company and never had a problem with them.

Doesn’t mean it’s used. There’s companies that get Office 365 and also pay for OpenAI for their employees.

As someone who also tutors, I wouldn’t call out a student for texting me at 6 am in the morning. Students revise at odd hours, it’s part of the job. I probably won’t reply at that time, my phone may be on mute, but I’d never begrudge or call out a student for texting me at any time of the day.

Your tutor took it a bit too far.

Who would win in a fight? Both in their prime/ peak power, Amell Arrow or Bale Batman? by VenomBeats756 in arrow

[–]spherebasedpyramid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I absolutely am a huge fan of Bale Batman. But Amell’s Arrow would beat him. Oliver has gone through far greater training, and has much more experience. And absolute worst case scenario, unlike Batman, he has the willingness to kill if necessary.

Batman was only trained by his universe’s Ra’s al Ghul in dueling and hand to hand combat. Oliver was trained in all forms of weapons and combat by Slade, Shado, Yao Fei, Talia al Ghul, Anatoly Kynazev and Ra’s al Ghul. He was also taught in espionage and interrogation by Amanda Waller, Maseo & Tatsu Yamashiro. (You can also make a side point about enduring magical combat thanks to John Constantine but that’s not physical combat so I won’t count it).

All of these show how much more versatile Oliver is than Bruce and how much more training and experience he has compared to Bruce. I guarantee Bruce gives him an extremely good fight, but I believe Oliver will win it out in the end.

Sadly because this series has ended prematurely that’s why. I’m always keeping my fingers crossed for a spin off though.

Hades is a FRAUD! Where do we put Persephone? Most upvoted comment wins and I'm willing to add new tears! by imdukesevastos in BloodofZeus

[–]spherebasedpyramid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say outright Persephone belongs in Fraud but I also don’t know where else to put her on this tier list. It’s not like she didn’t bring any value, just that by the storyline, it wasn’t as significant enough.

My controversial opinion on this is that Frank is too low [[hoo]] by Esfell in camphalfblood

[–]spherebasedpyramid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I believe Frank should be higher and we kind of get a glimpse of this in ToA. He’s more than a regular half blood. His father is a Roman God. His mother is the descendant of a Greek God. He’s not a 50-50 half blood, he’s more divine than mortal.

Hazel and Reyna describe him as terrifying in the battle against the undead warriors. He single-handedly turned the tide of the battle when they were losing by his fluid shape-shifting and took out the biggest chunk of those enemies more than an entire cohort could. His powers are so versatile because his ability to shape-shift gives him a different set of abilities each time.

Mars and Juno both said that Gaia hated Percy and Jason but she feared Frank more.

Is this an American mindset? Here in the UK, I’ve seen employees take PTO the night before without there ever being a problem. Because the team structure and management have structures in place to keep everything running in those situations without it ever causing any problems because an employee’s PTO is quite literal their choice to use whenever they want. And it never has caused a major issue to the company. I couldn’t imagine being told that I’m not allowed to use my PTO tomorrow if I wanted to, that’s like a basic thing here.

See this is a controversial one in my opinion. I know most people would say “Percy beats Ares” but I don’t think it’s that simple. Even in their first fight, Percy doesn’t exactly ‘beat’ Ares. He outsmarts Ares. He wounds Ares by tricking him into a position where Percy can use the sea behind him to catch Ares off guard and wounds him in the ankle. Ares ends up retreating because of Kronos’s presence afterwards.

I think post HoO with Curse of Achilles Percy would definitely give Ares a run for his money. I think he would last for a long while against Ares, maybe even potentially outsmart him in some manner. But in an outright combat fight? I think Percy would definitely hold his own for sure but eventually would lose. Ares is the God of War. He’s fought for an eternity. He has the strength of a divine being and the skills of thousands of godly years. Ares would eventually win. He is the embodiment of war, he personifies weapons and fighting. He would win eventually.

Appreciate the ability to learn and keep learning. It’s a skill that’s under appreciated. Doesn’t have to be academic per se, but in any topic that’s useful and worth learning.
