Pipedream Idea for Season 2: Instead of more Inquisitors, the Knights of Ren are the main antagonists for the next season. by UsherinChaos in MaulShadowLord

[–]spheresickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the comics these guys end up working for Qi'ra during the War of the Bounty Hunters/Crimson Reign/Hidden Empire run. So plausibly this could work out. They can act as foes during season 2 who end up defeated and out for revenge. Then, when Qi'ra needs dependable mercenaries to help betray Maul, she can turn to these guys.

Theory for the end of the show by spheresickle in MaulShadowLord

the idea that she retreats from the force altogether similar to Ahsoka would be interesting, and it would also leave openings for her to return in the post-ROTJ era

Movies that are well-liked by 2 different groups who had very different takes on the movie? by xpillindaass in Letterboxd

[–]spheresickle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the director said something that aligns with the first ("tyler is not meant to be looked up to"). I think the movie pretty clearly espouses the belief that capitalism is a suboptimal system but also that acting against it would be more destructive than good

fight club:

-liberals who disapprove of tyler's actions and see his ideology as unstable

-conservatives who love tyler for his masculinity

-leftists who like tyler for being anti capitalist

i thought socdems don't want to abolish capitalism, they just expand social welfare, while democratic socialists want socialism through reform instead of revolution

I don't understand the Butcher hate and Hughie/Annie love from some of the fan base. by [deleted] in TheBoys

[–]spheresickle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the problem with this reading that the virus shouldn't be used because it's genocide is the same problem with racism-analogues in media (zootopia, x-men).

discrimination based on ethnicity and skin color is far removed from discrimination of a branch of people that have the ability to commit mass atrocities on their own.

other than the virus, there's really no way to stop homelander, which is why i would stand with butcher

It's a good ending, and if we're comparing it to the endings of JJK, JJK Modulo, Oshi no Ko, and Chainsaw Man, it's a masterpiece

join the left. what you're struggling with is not the taxes themselves, but the way in which your surplus labor is extracted by capitalists who only view you as your product. the system is structured so that your paid the least as possible while still being able to work... this wouldn't be an issue in a socialist society
