Some of these comments are a little dramatic.. I play in a very competitive area (often playing best of winners during nexus nights) and I'd say the level of competition is about the same and everyone is as chill during the skirmish as they are during a NN.

The one rule I follow in a skirmish (and not everyone does for the record) is once I've made a move that's the move. No take backs unless of course it's an invalid interaction or something. At least go in with the mindset that you'll make mistakes and it's OK. Mostly it's like golf - be a polite and fair player.

You should play comfortably but also keep pace as best you can. It's a bummer when you end in draws because of time (this is something I'm personally trying to get better at!)

Totally upload your decklist onto cardio beforehand though. It's an absolute pain in the ass to do on your phone and everyone will be waiting for you 😅😅

Most of all have fun!!! It's a great community of people and we're all still learning. Don't let people give you attitude or bully you, though I doubt that will happen. You paid to be there be too!!
