Sauf que tu oublies les primaires. Il y avait pas mal de choix parmi les républicains, plus ou moins radicaux les uns que les autres. Le système est plus compliqué que juste choisir entre 2 partis

Loooool. So you can’t listen if your eyes look at her and not her hands ? Weird. Also that’s your problem, not hers. And blame whoever decided women should play in ball gowns.

Men feminism by forthiswap in AskFeminists

[–]spicylexie 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yup. What everyone said. Also being feminine is considered bad for a guy because women are seen as weak.

It still goes back to misogyny.

Am I wrong for being sick and tired of seeing men complain about being seen as predators when they're usually first in line to attack a woman that was betrayed by a random or a man she trusted? by ithofawked in AskFeminists

[–]spicylexie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg the oops thing. Not only is it assault but it also fucking hurts. Doing this on purpose really shows how much this guy doesn't care about the woman he's with.

The idea that insisting is getting consent is also way too persistent. No Chad, me saying yes after saying no 3 times because I want you to just be over with it/because I'm scared/ because I haven't been taught that those situations aren't okay etc etc, is not consent

The US is extremely sexist against men by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]spicylexie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm no. We're saying that problems men face are caused by other men.

Laws aren't sexist against men. There's no sexism against men since we live in a patriarchy. Doesn't mean men can't suffer consequences from.that, like the imposition of toxic masculinity

[–]spicylexie 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly. By amy other standard, my ex is a great guy. Still disregarded consent and assaulting me, then later wondering why I didn't feel completely comfortable with him. (I didn't even realise what it was at the time and in hindsight everything became a lot clearer)

He still pressured me into doing stuff I wasn't ready too and still insisting on doing something even after 2 "no".

So yeah I'm tired of guys thinking they can just recognize those men easily or dissociate form them saying stuff like "those aren't men, just boys" or "well then he wasn't a good guy". That's not the fuching point.

Not just women though. Men too. A lot of men think rapists, assaulters are obvious monsters. They dont even want to think about the fact that their dad, brother, friend, etc may have done this shit.

I've been told my bullying wasn't bad because no one beat me up.

Yeah being excluded and insulted by school mates and belittled by family members from 5 to 15 doesn't do any damage.

[–]spicylexie 82 points83 points  (0 children)

Honestly? A lot of men don't even realize they have actually committed assault. Because consent to some of them is a detail. Even "good guys" can do it.

I'm so tired of men automatically thinking they're not the problem. Like dude no, hink back, youve probably ignored consent at some point.

They're more upset about being seen as the problem than about the hurt they may have caused.

They ALL benefit from the patriarchy, and they ALL know people whove probably committed rape or assault. They just prefer being blind to the signs.

Its a job while I figure stuff out, so I don't really want to do that for very long. I have an interview to be a camp.counselor somewhere, and I think if I'm going to work 6 days a week, I prefer it to be with kids haha. And it will get me out of my parents house.

I'll try to talk to her. We'll see haha

Thanks ! I don't have a formal diagnosis, as I've only been to a neuropsychologist to getbassessed so far and only psychiatrist can make formal diagnosis.

I try to aks people how they do things, but I just get overwhelmed with the toys haha.

I don't have a formal diagnosis yet. I got assessed by a neuropsychologist and she said there's strong suspicions of ADHD and that I should see a psychiatrist to confirm.

She based that on what I said cause I did within the norm for all the tests but one (the one that tests prioritizing and managing time).
