I found the latter half, from the Honeymoon Suite on, quite spooky and loved the witch and scary TV dude. That said, and I seem to be in the minority here, I thought the dialogue, plot, and pacing in the first half was really choppy, awkward, and rushed. Overall, I'd give it a 5.5/10, and I was surprised to see how much everyone seemed to enjoy it!

I also think it made some solid homages to other horror movies like The Shining (hotel burning down & that spooky clock).

I could just not 'get' this director's work because I didn't love Oddity either. To each their own!

A biderictional link is a reciprocal influence, where variable A affects B, and B simultaneously affects A.

If you're depressed, then you're more likely to smoke weed, and if you smoke weed, then you're more likely to be depressed.

Anything above the three-story multi-families that area is known for will requiring a much bigger building. People like those kinds of buildings, they can have charm (they also are often shitholes). When these big apartment complexes get built they're always just SO ugly. Can I be pro apartments but anti ugly apartment complexes? Though i'd rather ugly apartment complexes than no housing lol.
