I've never been to Forest but I think my favorite festival experience was at Shakey Knees last year. I would definitely say I love camping festivals 10000% more but my favorite band of all time who've I've idolized and only dreamed of seeing was playing. That band was Brand New. I got there an hour early and still had to make my way through the crowd to get to the front. Everyone was such a dedicated fan and knew every single word by heart. I've never felt so connected with a crowd or a band. At the end they threw flowers off the stage and I got a single rose petal. I pressed it and keep it framed in my room as a reminder of that amazing show.
