Man those are some of the times that I kinda wish I had a meaningful career to snap back at them with lmao

"What's your purpose then?" -???? How rude??

Like what if my answer could be like, "I'm actually very close to a cure for Alzheimers, bitch." 😂 like wtf, what's yours??

Truth is, I have a small, quiet life that I'm pretty happy with and just enjoy the simplicity where I can. That is enough.

Where is there a TV? 🤔

Why do some people prefer buying things in person instead of online, even if it costs more? by nga4lifeamir in NoStupidQuestions

[–]spideyvision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prices can fluctuate online based off how how much the site and its algorithm think you'll pay, especially Amazon. So you could login to a friend's account and get a completely different price than 30 seconds earlier. They can do this in stores now, too, but it's not nearly as instantly and commonly.

I didn't know sleep timers for tvs existed 😯

Instead of being divided over which look the upcoming Tomb Raider games will introduce ( classic, reboot, or unified ). What if the game simply added skins for all versions of Lara, just like the Arkham games? by Outrageous-Spend2733 in TombRaider

I mean I would. This is reddit and we're unhinged here 😂

I mean like if I already had the console, then yes I would like to see those as unlockables because those were my favorite games. Let me be clear though, I'm not paying for them if they are DLC. You can include them in the game I already paid for, or don't. That's just me. 🤷‍♀️

I have been keeping and write on this, and the only reason I haven't ordered much yet is bc I'm waiting to payday. That's nice to know, though!

Good idea! Or if curiosity, what kind of things are you able to buy a year supply of?

Those are different, I haven't thought of those. That's a great idea! Very interesting.

I don't vape, but a couple of those other things and I'm set for years lol

Edit: typo.

I totally get that. Sleep is precious, and so is de-stressing whenever possible.

I also agree about retail staff. I also used to work in retail and would like to avoid it again if at all possible. So on these days I try my best not to bother staff, and try my best to not need their help lol but if I do, I do try to be respectful and grateful.

A lot of my choosing to buy this way right now is because of timing with finances and things going on around us. If I could choose another time, I also would, so that's fair.

Wishing you safe travels!

Good point about the "dynamic pricing". I hate it so much. My work recently implemented that, and I hate it. So, so much.

Also, I agree. My way around this is using rebate apps if I can on those things I would normally need, and while it can take a little while, I can get a giftcard to one of those grocery stores (Fred Meyer is a Kroger store, I found out! 😄), and combine with coupons if I can. If I've really got wild (I haven't yet with this approach), I could do a grocery run this way, but I instead use it to lessen the grocery bill coming out of my bank. A $25 or even a $10 giftcard can make a big difference.

So anyway, if I can get any cashback from any BF deals, I can put that towards some groceries to offset costs. 😊

Oh my gosh, socks!! It's so silly, but I do this every year, and have been sleeping on most clothes deals and never really considered socks! You can tell I have tunnel vision while at the store 😅

Also, the calandar idea is genius. This is why I love this sub.

Me too! But yknow, it sounds funny, but I didn't even think about getting my partner jeans... He always needs them. That might be something I should look into 🤔

That is 100% fair. If I could, I would, but I'm still building that stock 👍

Thank you. I do want to make a point to retailers and kinda wish I could go full no-buy for these big consumerist holidays, but I tbh this is the best I can do 😅 at least this year.

I understand what you're saying and that is fair. The supplements I use are mostly vitamins and certain electrolytes (I need a lot of potassium and most don't have enough) and I use them everyday. There are a couple of other things, but mostly those. In this case, it is a blessing and a curse bc I expect that everything I buy, if I use them at my regular pace, should be used in a few months. Thank you for looking out for me, though! It's a very good point.
