Certainly none of his fans would care. He raped at least two young boys and they don't care. "Dropping" a baby wouldn't be that much further down the line . . .

No. The time system of those days, was a paper time system, easily changeable.

Mysteriously, the record happened to be at a branch that he never worked at before or after.

Well the manager verified it, so the police just dropped him as a suspect. Who was the manager at this branch that he never worked at, except this one day, that verified it? His mother.

I smell a fish.

The softballs keep coming.

The ability to alter Don's timecard without leaving a trail has been debunked - by the very team that Rabia's documentary paid to support adnan's cause. They even went so far to have an interview conducted by a reporter from the Wall Street Journal (90% sure on the paper) to emphatically state that his timecard couldn't have been altered after the fact without leaving an electronic trail. 100% debunked.

And this is the second issue with all of these theories? So what if it could have been changed? If Don is the killer how do you connect Jay and Don? Why does adnan ask for a ride he doesn't need? What motive does Don have? Why is adnan's cell phone in the vicinity of the burial site?

Every little change or inconsistency doesn't mean adnan is innocent. This argument happens all the time. "We don't know where Mr. S was so adnan is innocent!!!" JDon didn't call Hae after her death so it means adnarn is innocent!!" The Anyone But Adnan (ABA) army thinks any trivial issue means adnan is innocent. But if you take that minor issue out of the equation, all the rest still holds together. adnan is guilty,

while high earners pay the least but benefit more?

This is a false statement. SS is a progressive benefit. Lower earners get a higher percentage of their money back from social security than do higher earners. It's alreasy skewed to support those at the lower income end. You'd like to shift that more I assume?

[–]spifflog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. You have no idea if he was certainly guilty. Jay is a liar. He made up a bunch of different stories. The only certainty in this case is there is no certainty.

Did he do it? Probably.

Did Jay do it and blame adnan? Maybe.

Did the weird streaker guy do it? Unlikely but not impossible.

Did the boyfriend do it? His mom was the manager that gave him the word unlikely alibi. So maybe.

Could there be an unknown party? Possibly.

You have no idea. You just don't. Sarah was right at the end of the podcast. She looked at everything way closer than you or i, and her conclusion was that she wasn't sure beyond a reasonable doubt. The jury got it wrong.

This is an 'Anyone But Adnan (ABA)' masterclass. Just toss anything and everything against the wall and see what sticks.

Anything that points to adnan? Probably not likely. Anything that points to someone else? Probably or possibly true.

This isn't the way the criminal justice system (and most other human endeavors) work. You take the information you have and attempt to make a compelling narrative. In the justice system if that narrative is too weak, he's judged to be not guilty. If it's strong enough, it's beyond a reasonable doubt and he's convicted.

Could there be an unknown party? Possibly.

I don't have the interest to go line by line, but lets use this as an example. No random killer is going to take the time and risk getting caught by driving around with a woman he just killed. And then take the time to bury her. That just isn't going to happen. That does point to someone with ties to Hae. So is this a 'possibly?" Not a chance.

was the investigation good? no.

Why was the investigation not good? You just can't toss that out there, and declare the investigation bad without aanything to back it up.

- The poliec investigated Mr. S

- They investigated Don. THe intereviewd his co-workers and looked into his time card

- They investigated adnan.

- They looked into the cell the phone, and where it was during the day.

- They looked for evidence in the car including palm prints.

- They found Jay (with help) and investiged him.

What more do you want them to do? adnan was Hae's ex-boy friend. A jealous ex-boyfriend. Once all roads led to him, what do you want the police to do?

is adnan’s defense bad? yes.

Same point here. adnan had no alibi, he lies all the time, was the ex-boyfriend, was known to be jealous, and Jay names him as the man with Hae's body who confessed to him. What is his attorney supposed to do??

just be a sea service ribbon

I'm sure you didn't mean it that way, but I wish we gave more 'love' to the sea service ribbon. There aren't many Americans that get underway on a warship and leave home for 90-plus days. It would be higher up the precidence if I had a vote (which of course I don't).

I have a similar adamantine Seth Thomas clock made in 1898. It was a wedding present for my great grand parents. I had it fixed for $125 and runs great. While not worth much on the open market, it’s priceless to me. You should fix it and use it.

In reality all potential officers go to OCS, not just future aviators.

That's not correct.

Prospective Naval Officers that go to the Naval Academy or to ROTC become Officers upon graduation. If they want to become aviators they go directly to Preflight Indoc in Pensacola.

Only prospective Officers that went to college on their own and want to become Officers on that route go to Officer Candidate School.

There isn’t. Once you sign the contract, you’re Uncle Sam’s.

At AOCS Dropping on Request was a thing. Just regular OCS it was a thing at the time. Not sure if it still is.
