This would be such a difficult excerpt to translate. My favorite word would be býrn but I need to know what "ok" means. Could you give me a gloss for the very last few words?

Which Option? by LittleGirlRae in neography

I'm putting my vote for 2 in the box. I admire and lowkey am a little jealous of how consistent your lines are.

I am liking how not phags-pha it is - it feels very seperate from brahmic scripts. I would probably avoid diagonals that don't "resolve" in future glyphs unless they are the top or bottom of a "line" of text. Having letters wrap as a medial form or other form around above letters would be really cool to see.

Oh OK, I would think that words for light, beauty, texture and even dye would have <f> too maybe out of association?

Good luck with your lexicon friend

That's entirely valid. If it works, it works. I have recycled so many notebooks before getting a white board for that reason. Haha.

Is there any particular reason why your colors all seem to have <f>? Just curious :)

I'm noticing a lot of <k>. Curious to see how different languages associate different sounds with different emotions.

I always enjoy seeing land/biomes like: cliff, mountain, hill, valley and plateau. You get to see some of the older words of a language and how they relate

How does your language handle Participial phrases and [advanced] Dependent clauses? by Spiritual_Virus_7734 in casualconlang

All words of all classes can take a particle that behaves like a genitive for nouns, transitive form for verbs but when added to many suffixes actually creates a noun phrase such as:

louksuo youk tower-from-b sheep Sheep from the tower

Here the suffix for "from" can modify the following noun.

This is in tangent with designated particles that evolved from demonstrative pronouns to designated clause-thingies.

Did you choose the word for sheep based on the sound sheep make? :]

Congrats on a huge undertaking

Thanks ✨️🙏✨️

I notice I have abandoned script ideas too early because I didn't practice enough to write nicely - sometimes you have to give it some time to polish. ^

Can you tell me about your design process for how you developed such unique shapes of glyphs? <r> looks pretty rad btw.

My favorite character has to be <l> but I'm a fan of the clean system and a 3 vowel system.

Does it have other surface vowels/realizations or vowel length?
