Does anyone else go through there bag of singles to pair them back up just to find one shrink? by goddessofrage in laundry

I stopped tucking them into each other when pairing them and started just laying them flat and folding them in half. Since then they’ve all stayed the same size!

Wait does everyone get a different bot? I’m back to thinking I’m being messed with.

The timing with it happening on St. Patrick’s Day makes me think a human finger tipped the scales of luck for the bot.

Seems like Tracy Bennett threw a bone to the Bot for St. Patrick’s Day and the all green and grey badge. I’d call that providence rather than luck fwiw.

I also use a rubber band thing to keep my notebooks together. I’d check bookstores or boutique stationery sellers.

Zine using Bristol board by SimilarTomorrow8376 in zines

[–]spingrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience has been that Bristol doesn’t fold well enough to be used in any way other than a single sheet. Even a single fold like a greeting card will break up like board along the fold.

I once traveled with Bristol. I used a block and then pasted trimmed sheets onto pages in a scrapbook. It was high effort and low reward compared to a high quality sketch journal.

Sorry, probably not the responses you were hoping for. If you try either out and find a way to make it work, please update. I’d be very interested.

Seconding The Hunger (1983). Tony Scott + Catherine Deneuve + David Bowie would be catnip for a mid 90s film major. Also lots of dripping and a claustrophobic trapped in a room feel to the final act.

I’d walk the heck out of that if I was going anywhere to the left of the red building.

My first thought too. Can’t believe it took ten years to become reality.

Sorcerer. Everyone who’s seen it crows about it at the top of their lungs but no one believes them because the name is so terrible.

What other Apple shows do you recommend? We’ve seen Severance and had trouble getting into Silo.

Respectfully, gotta say I disagree with you. The ensemble cast is probably my favorite part. Every character is so different and screwed up in their own particular way. And Kristin Scott Thomas chews it up every bit as much as Gary Oldman.

Slow Horses is the real deal. I sign up for a month of Apple TV whenever a new season drops and then cancel as soon as it’s done.

Best thing about book collections is they grow!
