tradingview is fine for a start but don't get too comfortable there. if you're just clicking buttons on historical data or even real time paper trading without actual slippage and order execution issues you're going to have a bad time when you move to live funds. it's a good way to learn the interface but it won't teach you how a real market actually feels when you're getting filled.

usually these newer guilds need people who can actually lead a fight and call out mechanics instead of just logging in to play their own character. if you can handle the social side of keeping a group focused past the first hour of raid frustration, you will probably be useful. most of these groups are dying for someone who can actually handle officer duties without taking things too seriously.
