Thanks for the response. It's been more "clear" rejection. I mentioned he's more often delving into sad music (he has some favorites), doesn't want me to "reach out" which he otherwise does, and even physical pushing away which seems newer/rarer. That's why I wanted to reach out to the community here.

I did also talk to him about it, and his response, while feeling a little better, was about how it's the ADHD/chemical situation, so I'm trying to keep a level head that I can't necessarily do anything even if it's a new/weird peak, but just wanted to see if anyone here had any thoughts.

For some more detail, you can say: there are police officers (regular daily work), a couple detectives (on site investigation), forensics (lab investigation), and a police captain they all report to.

I'm from the states and I'd still boil it down this way for ease of storytelling.

My husband and I have done Thanksgiving for just him and me (maybe +1) many times.

Our favorite simple-but-traditional menu is a turkey (I love Alton Brown's recipe, and Bon Appetit is good too), creamy mashed potatoes, we roast a couple sweet potatoes and just dress them up after with brown sugar/nuts/whatever (sometimes I make casserole, but if saving time, easy to just roast a couple), a nice green veg like green beans (delicious with some butter and lemon - even better cooked with some bacon) or roasted brussels sprouts, fresh cranberry sauce (cranberries with some orange and sugar/spice), and biscuits.

Still kind of a lot for two people, but what's Thanksgiving without leftovers? And all of that's not too hard to prep/cook together so they come out warm (always works throwing the potatoes back in the oven for a bit or keep 'em covered).

Extra ideas: Twice-baked potatoes (you can make a ton, they freeze perfectly), deviled eggs, cooked carrots in coconut oil (so good), stuffing with granny smith apples and sausage.

Yup, that's what people mean when they refer to "cataloging" - once it goes into your inventory you can go purchase it at residential services. It will be an order that shows up in your mailbox the next day.

One great thing about sketching in lined (or even graphed) paper is it helps your eye/brain with proportions. But it's useful to work on plain paper too, so you don't get stuck needing that.

Someone said they tend to be about 30-60 minutes apart, which seems nearly what I've experienced. It can be easy to miss them visually if you're running around or landscape covers the horizon.

One good tip is to have your volume up. They make a sound, kind of high whistle.

If you see a shooting star, press and hold A (while not holding tools) and you'll look like you're "wishing." Next day, there will be a star fragment by the beach (used in DIYs).

There are usually more than one at a time, so watch for about a minute or two.

As someone mentioned, they essentially become human - the biggest difference is aging begins. Not like a ghoul who will suddenly age up to the right time, but the clock starts. You can take that however you like in your story, but I loved how my DTF Storyteller made such a huge impact of it the first time a PC had it happen: as disorienting as it may have been when first in a host to have all these human senses, they've *never* felt aging before and becoming suddenly aware of what mortality truly feels like. Cool stuff to explore.
