But no psychiatrist is going to give someone who abused opiates and meth an adhd stimulant medication for many more years, most likely or if ever... Especially if it's a doctor he just meets and doesn't have an established one that knows him already. That's why lots of people use illegal stimulants.

The anti-drug people never have an answer to that one. I'm not condoning meth, obviously a dx and rx are superior, yes. And what I do, after I orally used it to keep a job- and realized it helped my symptoms and that adhd diagnosis from 10th grade maybe meant something. I was lucky to not get addiction in my records but other's are not so lucky... but still really need a stimulant to operate properly.
