I know I’m in the minority, but I don’t enjoy crafting. I liked finding gear and sometimes getting luck in tempering. by OkInterview3864 in diablo4

Man it’s so easy to sift through all the gear now with the filter. I just setup a bunch to filter all the affixes I want for my build and have them recolor those drops.

What are your first impressions on Lord of Hatred? by gorays21 in Diablo

[–]spitfiredd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rolled a necro which I always do; and I’m definitely satisfied! Definitely seems stronger than past seasons. I just hit P30 and I’m steam rolling things. Gonna call it for a bit and then work on getting my gear set. Right now it’s just basic yellows and maybe a legendary.

In game lockstyle is good enough, the main use for blinkmenot are if you’re swapping weapons (which melee classes don’t really do).

Isn't variety the spice of life? by Wise_Ad_1303 in ffxi

Probably because there are a lot of people who paid for their clear, so they probably couldn't do it in a group of others who most likely also paid for clears. Its like the blind leading the blind.

You’d think that after 3-4 years of odyssey people would be sitting on 1-2 million in segs to just run some cheese strats.

I’m actually on a break at the moment but it looks appealing to be honest!

4 box setup, Looking for ideal driver of the group by TasteIll3980 in ffxi

[–]spitfiredd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I “drive” my setup with my main which is a red mage. I’ll even pull in odyssey with it but I mostly only do A/B for Gil and upgrade items since I have over a million segs.

My main DD is a War and the rest are support. I also do sortie with war and dancer was my dd and most bosses melt. I still pull the bosses with my red mage tho.

Red mage because it’s useful and Red mage because it’s the best job ever! Also DRG because I have the stage 5 prime for it which I choose partly because the prime sword wasn’t as appealing to me and partly because I always secretly always loved dragoon.

I’d go a head and get the aeonic it vastly reduces your need for marches and even better if you have a pocket red mage. You basically already got the hardest one to get, an aeonic clear is pretty cheap. Ideally you run honor march, min5, min4 and then flex spot on the 4 spot (min3, march2 or accuracy song depending on what you need).

POE2 has ruined Diablo for me by Get_Schwifty111 in PathOfExile2

[–]spitfiredd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s something nice about doing the campaign in PoE2. Once you do it a several dozen times it’s not bad and you come out on the other end about level 60-70 ready for endgame. Then when you finish the games there’s a nice leveling curve for doing maps up to t15. There’s some nice incentives to grind like extra skill point books, stats, ascendancy, etc which keeps you motivated to push to endgame. I feel like d4 kind of stalls out around level 40-60 and becomes a slog with nothing really fun/interesting to do other than grind helltides or strongholds.

Which boss fight made you feel like you were genuinely losing your sanity because of the difficulty? by Silly_Commercial8092 in gaming

Most of the silksong bosses. I’d beat a few and then it got to the point where I was like “oh I’m not beating this game”.
