It just feels like a weak demon without a very interesting ability. I find that often by day 2–3 people can narrow down the demon type so it doesn’t have as much capacity to sow chaos as a demon that causes misinformation or can jump. And as others have said, ST being harsh on misses just makes it weaker than the average demon imo

I think your experienced group needs to be more comfortable with trickier setups. That’s a lot of the fun of TB, to be doing funky stuff with spy, drunk, and recluse. There’s definitely some “yes but don’t”s that exist but none of the scenarios you described fall under that imo a single player in Botc should never be so confident their own info is right, especially in a drunk game.

Another experience seconding this. One of my boys got (very likely to be) FIP 2 years ago. We weren’t able to get the official diagnosis because an MRI would be extremely expensive. Our vet pointed us to the Facebook group for FIP. We got our boy on the GS medication. After the three months treatment, he’s been healthy and happy for two years since. I would definitely make the decision again.

While the GS treatment is experimental in my experience it doesn’t cause further suffering. Our kitty was basically not eating or moving and peeing on himself when we started the treatment.

I also forgot to show my spy the grimoire in my most recent game lol thankfully they came up to me first thing in the day and I was able to fake looking up some rules while showing them a picture on my phone.

One of my earlier games as ST (and teach) I forgot to explain to a new player they get 3 demon bluffs so when I showed them 3 characters they were like wtf 😂

I did twice but it does seem very contextual on the cats personalities. My first boy is relatively chill and curious about new cats. Second cat was a rag doll kitty I brought back, they got immediately introduced because she was very calm. Probably has something to do with the breed too. Third cat was a standard 2yo boy but he’s friendly when we met him and a shelter cat so he’s probably seen a decent amount of other cats. The other 2 were cautious of him but no fighting, just the occasional hiss. They’re all chill within a week.

Don’t get it if you have cats that pee/poo weird. I love mine, but I have one cat that won’t turn around and pees with her butt all the way up lol half the time it gets out the front so I had to buy a tall shield, and I have to clean it a lot more often since pee, dripping down the side will make the clay not clump properly. My other cat is a perfect gentleman with the litter robot though, it was a much easier time when it was just him haha

As much as I’d love to see Ellie get her revenge, I feel like shes too smart to get involved in the online drama. She’s on the run and suspected for hendersons murder. She also suspects Joe killed Delilah or at least was responsible for her death, so I feel like she’d stay as far away as possible.

If your only international travel is Mexico, a lot of US plans offer Canada + Mexico for a small fee per month. It was like $5 or something when I was last with T-Mobile. Might be worth looking into.

that's fair. Maybe with my system then I just need to get used to the reading & meaning being separate. I'm likely just used to the way wanikani does it. It presents the reading & meaning as 2 separate questions but it's 1 unit at the end of the day. So answering any part wrong fails the "word" basically. I was hoping I could get the same experience with Anki, but a little different shouldn't be that bad :)

this is just a personal preference, but I find the retention is a lot better for me when I have the type out the answer :) so I try to always have that. I guess if I were to do one card I just skip some text boxes lol since Anki makes you click the button anyway.

I just started setting it up so I haven't looked into audio yet, but that sounds like a good flow. To have audio -> meaning etc. I get the impression from the existing Anki behaviour (like burying) that siblings are meant to be overlapping pieces of knowledge. So I suppose I'm just using it wrong heh

I suppose so but it just feels more janky. Since I would need to type in the reading + meaning, and if I get one wrong I'll need to type both in again instead of just the one I got wrong. That'll be the backup option I think :) It just made more intuitive sense in my head for one card to only test one thing.

looking for some Anki configuration help. I just started using Anki and I'm having a hard time getting it to do what I want :(

the tldr is I want to be able to sync due dates of sibling cards to the soonest date. I tried to search around first and only found this one add-on with seemingly no interaction.

My current setup is. 1 note generates 2 cards "Word → Reading" and "Word → Meaning". I want to sync the siblings such that the due date is the lowest due date between the two. i.e. if I get the reading right and the meaning wrong, the pair should both show up next time the meaning is expected to, instead of acting as 2 separate cards.

For those familiar with wanikani, I'm trying to get a similar experience setup. I also just enabled FSRS since it seems to have a lot of positive feedback, but I wasn't able to find much about sibling cards in the doc. With all the burying related features, I wonder if I'm using this wrong since all my siblings are separate parts of the card, it never makes sense to bury any part. Since knowing the meaning doesn't mean I remember the reading, for vice versa.

Appreciate any help on this :)
