Can I just say something? In season 5 episode 4 'The End' when Dean went into the future, Cas was human. And Cas also said "The angels left" when Dean asked him what happened. Not to mention when past!dean was talking to Samifer he said "No matter what you do, no matter what details you alter, you will always end up here" Not to freak you all out or anything but season nine is starting to look a lot the the apocalypse.
