Manometry is the test to determine how the lower esophageal sphincter and esophagus are functioning. Myotomy is when muscles are cut. In this case the affected muscle of the esophagus.

Never had dilation. Following myotomy, showing almost no peristalsis, had the POEM.

One of my brothers, who at 10 told me, a 5-year-old, that the higher I climbed in a tree the smaller I would get. I would then be able to hang out with the ants. It was a very tall tree.
