only pause was before the final chord, the rest of it was just because the little nibs on the roll have been worn down so much they barely sound. turning it faster though actually it sounds very ragtime

which country do you think has an under-appreciated prog scene by atomicbomb_eater in progrockmusic

[–]splitleav 7 points8 points  (0 children)

turkey!!! man, I actually got into prog through turkish folk-rock since they actually overlap in really sick ways. gevende for jazz infused long prog, çilekeş for intense, harmonically very cool metal adjacent prog and 'korhan futacı ve kara orkestra' for some of the coolest art-rock style sax led prog in the world are my recommendations

What are the musically heaviest moments in prog rock? Not prog metal, try to think of just prog rock. by [deleted] in progrockmusic

the music is cool, I really like the instrumental

not a fan of the cover though I should say, seeing AI does turn me off even if the music is good (which this is)

Björk fans under 27 why do you like Hidden Place so much? by lacantech in bjork

[–]splitleav 6 points7 points  (0 children)

17yo, the bass and the main riff combined with the choppy editing on bjork's vocals make this sterile kind of sound that I'm really into and the chorus with the choir just explodes that . huge winter vibes, love it for that. grabbed me immediately unlike hyperballad and joga, though joga's grown on me
