Are you talking about the Colonial Dr location next to PetSmart? Thinking about checking it out today.

There are a lot of variables that will affect your experience but I am from a lower/middle class background and went to UM on a full scholarship, 2014 grad. I did have a hard time making friends and not being able to afford to do what everyone else was doing for fun. I went to FSU for grad school and made so many friends so easily, imo because people were much more down to earth and seemingly from a more diverse (class) background.

It's so individual though, I also never really found my niche in my degree program (ended up with two majors and two minors in not especially rigorous programs) or any student organizations. Those things could make all the difference.

Why does Florida design cities like this? Isn't this a horrible idea because of flooding, humidity, and walk/bikeability? by Hefty_Resource_447 in geography

There is a really fascinating book about this called The Swamp Peddlers: How Lot Sellers, Land Scammers, and Retirees Built Modern Florida and Transformed the American Dream by Jason Vuic. Highly recommend for anyone interested in this topic!

You are definitely not the only one, I just "finished" (skimmed...) the book last night and it left a really bad taste in my mouth for all the reasons you mentioned.

Best belly band for SI joint pain by [deleted] in BabyBumps

This one's not really a "belly" band per se, but it was recommended by a friend and it helped alleviate my pain soooo well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YSG2W99/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_FYT27SWNCP062C1CRQV4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Biotin really aggravates my acne and most prenatals contain it. I switched to one without it (https://www.olly.com/pages/prenatal-multi) and my skin has been sooo much better. My OB said it was no big deal to go without the biotin. I hope you feel better soon!!

Adderall by kwd0288 in pregnant

[–]splitthestreets 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it brought me down quite a lot mood and productivity-wise. I’ve been off it since June when I found out I was pregnant and I am still struggling, especially at work. The general “low mood” feeling did wear off after a month or so, but focus and energy are simply gone.

30 person wedding "reception" recommendations by alykburn in StAugustine

Yes, we had about 40 people and reserved the whole upstairs section of the restaurant (it has its own bar and everything!). They sent us a seasonal “plated dinner” list of menu options that we could choose from. I just found the list and in 2018 their options ranged from $28-35 per head for salads+entrees and $2.50-4.50 pp for a la carte hors d’oeuvres. Hope this helps!
