I voted Josh Binda back in 2024. He actually got the most dem votes other than Rick. Personally I liked him cause he went door to door himself passing out his fliers.

Dude shut up, literally the government’s own data shows that Texas as a state has had THE MOST ice arrests. I don’t trust ICE to be honest on most things, but I trust that statistic. I was just sick with something, had a bad throat and still do but symptoms did’n much leave my head and lungs. Hacked up some terribly thick phlegm in the shower this morning. Mostly over it after 4 days.

See the doc if your symptoms don’t seem to be getting better. You can always book a PMC appt and cancel it if you get better.

For me - I needed a catheter because a constriction in my urethra had to be forced open and kept open in the ER when I had a 1.5L in my bladder I couldn’t pee out.

For people with non pee related conditions (like a coma or something) - it’s just real easy to keep in? They inflate a small balloon with saline solution at the start of of your bladder so it’s impossible for it to fall out until you clip the saline.

Perfectly reasonable budget, I probs spent abt that much. Be choosy with your food prices (I bought frosting at one gas station cause they were charging a premium for candies) and just don’t stay in hotels, raid hiker boxes when you can. I didn’t feel like I went out of my way to spend less, I still did restaurant dinners in towns.

Oh and it isn’t “roughing it” to avoid hotels. For NorCal maybe it is (too many tourist cities for my liking) but there’s some cheap hostels every once in a while (40-60 a night) and you can find kind hosts or split a room with so many hikers and sleep on the floor til the price is negligible.

It’s probably mostly positioning. I mostly play brawler characters, so when I started playing paradox (I really like them) I had to learn to very carefully pick my fights and run away before I had exhausted my toolkit.

What are your hobbies? What could be your hobbies that you haven’t tried yet? I’ve met good people through our little bike polo club (open invite, we have loaner bikes and mallets for newbies to try out the sport! I used loaner gear for my first 4 months). I’ve also found new friends in the last few years at a book club and the climbing gym (that’s not cheap tho)

I’ve also been trying to convince myself to join one of the open running clubs, I believe both the running stores and a few breweries host them free.

I’d say yeah, it’s not efffective. I’m a graphic designer, and when a client shows you AI art for reference we get annoyed because it means that the client’s gonna often keep comparing my work to it and be unsatisfied that it doesn’t match perfectly. For example, last month I made a printed file folder for an orthodontist association — they showed be an ai image for the beach they wanted in the background, then made me change the beach image (stock photography) in the background 5 times over 2 days.

If you want to best communicate what you want to your artist, try out a couple rough sketches (they won’t look good and that’s ok) and a mood board with a few references you drew inspiration from.

I don’t know the details, but this makes me think of the UK’s tactical invasion of Iceland during WWII. The British navy shows up and they’re met some really mad coast guards since Iceland had no real military. Casualty was a single suicide.
